Today is our baby shower. At our baby shower we're going to have lunch, play some games and open presents.
Tony's mom and I set everything up in the backyard.
"How have you been feeling hun?" Alice asks
"Oh, I've been okay. Morning sickness everyday but other than that, okay"
"Oh hun, I had morning sickness all throughout the months of my pregnancies. It sucks but it's worth it"
"Yeah it sure is. And I have a question."
"You can ask anything hun"
"Well, I was talking to my mom about how I'm birthing. And I don't know if I'm going to be able to give birth naturally. I may wanna do it through a C section. But my mom said I have to do it naturally because everyone else in my family has so I should too"
"Hun, I know thinking about it is hard, but I know you can do it naturally. They will give you an epidural. But, at the end of the day it's your body, so it's your choice. And I will be supporting you through it all, and so will tony."
"How did you give birth?"
"With Xavier, and Ondreaz, I did vaginally, but with tony, I had to do a c section because he wasn't getting into the position he needed to before birth, but I went into labour so they decided to just make it easier on myself and give me a c section. Delivering vaginally will make you feel like you can do anything, though" she explains and smiles.
"Thank you so much. Your so much easier to talk to than my mom. My mom just tries to control what I do and how I do it now. Like with the formula I bought. I bought formula because in case I couldn't get her fed for some reason and she said "no you have to always be available to her and be available to breast feed her" and I just don't think that it's her choice"
"Oh for sure. You don't have to breast feed her. It's your choice. Don't let your mom make your choices for you and for Tessa."
"I really appreciate it. I feel like your more of a mom than she is."
"I'm always here for you. I was a teen mom as well I know what position you are in"
I hug her for a minute and then tony comes outside
"Hey mamas" he says. That's his new nickname that he calls when we're together.
"Hey tony" I smile.
We have cute little decorations in his backyard and a table set up like this

When guests start to arrive, it's mostly Tony's family members. I don't have a lot of family out here so my family that came is my mom and Amy.
"Auntie Amy is here" Amy says running towards me to hug me.
"Ohh please not so rough I feel like I'm a house right now." I say causing Amy to laugh.
We all have lunch, then play some games and I open the presents.
I get mostly clothes, diapers, soaps and lotions, soothers, teddy bears and stuff.
Tony and I are are doing some more organizing in the nursery.

We didn't plan on painting it, but tony was working and I got bored. It looks amazing though!
