We just got back from Winnipeg and I'm glad We're home.
I got my first period since before I was pregnant.
"Baby" tony says shaking me awake "your bleeding in the bed, I ran you a bubble bath" he says softly
"Ok" I say and get up. I go to the bathroom and he has a bubble bath drawn, and my favourite tea and a few candles lit. Awh he's so sweet
I get undressed and he takes my clothes and puts them in the wash along with our sheet.
Tessa must be asleep because I don't hear her.
Tony comes back 10 minutes later with my laptop and Tessa
"Let's watch a movie" he says sitting beside me on the floor and puts Tessa on his legs while he gets my laptop set up.
He puts on my favourite movie from my childhood, the lion king. When he gets it on he grabs a pillow and puts it under his arm that he's gonna hold Tessa with.
Halfway through the movie Tessa starts crying so tony goes and feeds her and puts her in her bed after burping her.
"Tony can u bring me my clothes?" I say as I'm reading to get out of the tub.
A couple minutes later he comes in with our clothes and helps me out and get dressed. Tony is such a sweetheart I love him.
I go and lay in bed and watch a movie on my laptop.
"Tony" I call for him, he comes into our room from the living room.
"Everything okay?" He asks
"I don't know if I'm gonna be able to go back to school. At least not yet. I think I'm going to miss Tessa too much and I don't wanna miss stuff like her firsts and stuff"
"No one is forcing you. How bout, you do online for the first semester of school, and then see how u feel about going back then? Because I know how much you wanna have ur grad ceremony and prom."
"Am I gonna be a bad mom if I chose to go to school?"
"No honey, your finishing school so you can make a better life for Tessa, I promise, it will be hard but you'll be happy about it. And Tessa will be there, almost a year old, when your graduating."
"I love you tony" I hug him and I have tears in my eyes. I have been so overly emotional since I've had Tessa.
"I love you too baby" he hugs me back tightly. "Have your cramps gone away?"
I shake my head no. "we should probably let your mom know that I've decided to do online school for now."
"She's coming over in like 20 minutes. She's bringing us something."
"Okay... wanna bring Tessa here?"
"Yeah" he days and grabs her out of her bassinet
"Thank u baby" I say taking Tessa from him and laying her on my chest
"I love u Tessa" I say softly to her. She makes a little baby noise. She's still sleeping.
Tony goes into the kitchen and continues doing what he was before. I turn the movie back on on our tv.
20 minutes later, his mom arrives.
I go sit in the living room so I can talk with his mom.
"So, I've decided that I don't really want to go back to school. I just don't want to miss Tessa and not be there for her firsts, and everything else."
"I understand how you feel. I think it would be best for you to stay home for atleast the first semester."
"I agree. I just, I thought I could go back, but after having her, I can't. I don't want to leave her. Im gonna try my hardest to go back at the beginning of semester 2, because I really wanna graduate at school and have a ceremony.."
"Is tony planning on going back to school?"
"I'm not sure. We haven't really talked about him... I don't want him to feel like he has to work though, because then we won't see him much."
"Well, his dad said that he can come work for him, and his hours will be totally flexible. And I already know that Tony's dad said he would give tony more than what he would get anywhere else."
"Okay, well, whatever he decides, I know it'll be the best decision he could've made"
"Yeah, and I'm always here to come hangout and watch Tessa if you need to get school done and she's being fussy or any thing"
"Thank you so much!" I hug her "have you talked to my mom recently?"
"Not really, she's still upset about me not letting her hold Tessa that one time. Your dad was over a couple nights ago with nick and they said that she's been in and out of the mental institution.. I don't know what happened... she wasn't like this when she had nick.."
"Wait... what do you mean when she had nick?"
Tony comes and sits beside us
"I am originally from Winnipeg, I was best friends with your mom. When I met Tony's dad we were on a school trip to Los Angeles and after I found out I was pregnant with Xavier, I moved out here with Tonys dad. Your mom wasn't happy with me but she and your dad came to visit a couple times until nick was about 1 and a half years."
Tony and I look at her like she's crazy.
"Wow" I say "I wonder what's making her so crazy with Tessa and I.."
"Well, to be honest I think it's because you are getting so much more support and help than what she did. When she told her mom and dad about nick, they were furious, they made her go live with your dad. they eventually let her back in after a couple months, but they didn't support her financially or anything like what you guys are getting."
"I guess, that makes sense. Should I talk to her?"
"I think she would like that. But don't bring Tessa, just you and her."
"Yeah, I wouldn't bring Tessa anyways"
"Just don't get angry with her. Explain to her why you don't want her around Tessa and explain what she has to do in order to get to see tessa"
"Okay, thank you" I hug her again.
"I should get going, I have to make ondreaz and your dad dinner" she says looking at tony.
Tony hugs her and walks her out.
I go back to our room and lay Tessa down. She falls back asleep.
Help! I need ideas. I don't know when I'm going to finish this off either. I might go a couple more chapters and then do a prom chapter, graduation chapter, than a 1st birthday chapter.
