The new girl || Tony Lopez

This chapter is like 2-3 months into the pregnancy because I got kinda bored of writing then so skipped to when the gender reveal is gonna be.

Today is our gender reveal party, I can't believe it's already time for the gender reveal.

"Baby, you look beautiful today" tony says looking at me. I'm wearing long sleeve white gown style dress that's tight and really shows off my baby bump. He kisses me and then kisses my bump.

"Thank you." I look him up and down. He's wearing a white t shirt and black jeans that are tights.

We walk downstairs and see my mom and his mom starting at us. "You guys are so cute" both of them say together.

We go to my backyard and see everyone we've invited, friends, family, everyone.

We talk to everyone for awhile and then at 130pm it's time to pop the balloon and we get ready. We got a photographer for today because this is an important day for us.

Everyone starts counting down and when they hit one, tony pops the balloon.

Pink confetti comes out and I jump into Tony's arms. We were hoping for a girl, but we're going to be happy either way. We're having a babygirl!

"I love you babygirl" tony says into my ear.

"I love you too!"

After the gender reveal, we have lunch.

My mom and Tony's mom made sandwiches and salad for lunch for everyone. We all eat and everyone socializes.

After the party, tony and I hangout in his room and decided to chose a name.

"Okay, so I think the best way we could go about choosing a name is taking our list, and a pen each and taking turns eliminating." I explain.

"Okay, whatever you want baby" he says.

After awhile, we get down to 3 names. I think we had almost 200 girl names that we liked. So it took quite awhile.

Our 3 names we chose were

Tessa

Emma

Rosalie

"I like tessa the most" tony says

"Me too. Tessa Lopez. We need a middle name for our babygirl"

"Lynn?" He suggests.

"That's such a basic middle name." I whine

"I know. That's why I thought of it" he laughs.

"Mae?" I suggest

"yes. Tessa Mae Lopez" he says

"Thats beautiful" i say.

We start to pack tonys clothes into boxes. Next week we are moving into our basement suite.
