The gentle rocking of the floor was the first sensation that Lethia felt as she began to wake. The smell of mold and salt water filled her nose. The girl felt stiff as she tried to sit up. Her progress however was halted by the metal collars around her neck attached to a post by a chain, her hands shackled behind her.

Panic set in as she looked around her. Attached to the pole across from her was Lorelai, still unconscious appeared unharmed.

Lorelai groaned as she opened her eyes and promptly closed them again. Lethia...

"Lethia?" She called and didn't recognize her own voice. She looked down and was still very much in her human form...got to love willpower. She looked around until her eyes readjusted to the lighting and saw her tied up a ways away from her.
"Lethia! Oh my God are you alright?!"

"I'm fine, I'm sorry I tried to warn you. I guess I wasn't quick enough, I'm sorry....." Lethia looked around the ship's hold where many other people kneeled, chained as they were. "I hope Mama got the kids to safety............"

"I'm sure they are alright... I just wish I knew where we were going. Or why we were taken in the first place."

"I don't know......." Lethia leaned against her post, falling into silence.

Things seemed to never change as the days passed. The human captives helped to feed the demons who were more restrained. The sailors were far from kind to those below deck. It was obvious that wherever they were going it was not pleasant.

"This is torture..." Lorelai said softly refusing to eat...she didn't really need to. All she thought about was Roman and Damien...and all of the people who lost everything...she wondered if they were looking for them.

"Why would you store something so important down here?" New voices echoed through the dank and miserable hold. Three figures picked their way through the mass of bodies.

"Ugh it stinks..........Lethia?"

Lethia looked up surprised to see Riley standing a few feet from her.

"Lorelai! You! Get the captain and tell him to meet us above deck!" Andrew snapped as he knelt next to the girl.

The boys did not waste time looking for keys buy instead broke the collars and shackles by hand before gently lifting the girls and carrying them above deck.

"Thank you," Lorelai said smiling at the twin that carried her out of the hole, she was too happy to be free to question why.

The bright light stung Lethia's eyes as they emerged from below deck. The girl buried her face in Riley's chest to block it as the resounding noise of running feet filled the air. Riley's chest seemed to be trembling and vibrating.

Lorelai already had her head in Andrew's chest. She heard the stomping of feet and she leaned more into him. Her defensive tactics had taken effect once she realized she was in chains. She was meek and quiet and subservient. She had learned long ago that was the way to survive around certain humans.

The Captain's voice rang clear above the others. "I DON'T CARE HOW OR WHY I WANT TO KNOW WHERE AND I WANT TO KNOW NOW!!!"

"Is that?" Lorelai thought to herself as she peaked her head up and around to find the source of the yelling. Roman stormed down the steps from the upper to lower deck, his face and eyes full of rage.

"Roman?" Lorelai said as Andrew let her down and she impacted into his chest. She felt his arms wrap around her and she sobbed. She was so happy to see him that she had no idea how to be anything but relieved. "What is going on," she said muffled as the other three joined the reunion, Riley still holding Lethia.
