"Diro, how far are we?" Four asks as he walks into the cockpit of The Lobster.

"We're about an hour out." Diro tells him, turning in his chair to face the reptilian.

"Contact the base and let them know." Four hisses.

"Gotcha." Diro says.

Four stands behind the pilots as Diro turns in his seat and starts messing with the comms.

"Huh, weird." He mutters to himself.

"What?" Four asks.

"I'm not able to contact base." Diro says and turns toward Four.

"Something's not right." Breedone says as he tries to on another frequency.

"I'll go tell Wes and Chip." Four hisses and walks out, down the hall toward the medical bay.

He knocks on the doorway as he walks in. Wesley and Chip look up toward him as they were sitting by Bat and Rune's medical beds.

"What's the good word?" Chip asks.

"I'm not sure I'd consider it good." Four says.

"Why? What's wrong?" Wesley asks.

"Diro and B can't contact base." Four hisses with a scowl.

"What?" Wesley asks before he glances over at Bat who was moving, weakly sitting up as he groans in pain.

"No no no no, Bat, lay down sir." Wesley tells Bat as he gently places his hand on his chest, trying to push him back down.

"Something's wrong." Bat says, before wincing in pain.

"Yes sir. Don't worry. We'll figure it out." Wesley tells him.

Bat stares intently at Wesley before he allows him himself to be laid back down. Wesley and Chip look at Rune who was still sleeping before they nod to Bat and follow Four out of the medical bay. They walk into the hallway and close the door behind them. Four motions for them to follow him and they all walk into the cockpit. Wesley and Chip take the seats behind Diro and Breedone while Four stands behind them.

"What's going on?" Wesley asks.

"We aren't entirely sure. It almost seems like communications are being jammed." Breedone says.

"Jammed? By what?" Chip asks.

"See, that's what's funny. It's not the outgoing communications. It's not from the ship." Diro says.

"And?" Chip asks.

"It's from the base." Wesley says.

"Exactly what we're thinking." Diro says smirking.

"Why would base be jamming transmissions?" Four hisses.

"They might not be jammed. Could just be comms troubles. Maybe a power outage or a storm is interfering with the signal, or maybe something knocked the satellite down." Breedone says.

"We haven't had a power outage in a while. The reactor is going strong. Not to mention, the storms haven't have been that bad either. Recently, at least." Wesley says.

"Just naming possibilities, sir." Breedone says.

"No. Something's going on." Four hisses.

"Like what?" Diro asks.

"Not sure, but whatever it is, it's not good." Four says.
