Lock Down

Narrator's POV

"Mija." Geny calls out softly as she opens Sofia's bedroom door only to see her daughter wrapped up in her blankets as she stares at the wall

"Oh, mi amor." Geny says as she walks into her room before climbing into the bed with her before snuggling up to her

"I'm gonna bring you some breakfast, novia." Geny says before pecking the back of Sofia's head before she climbs out of the bed

Geny closes the door behind her as she leaves the room

*15 Minutes Later*

*Ding*

*Ding*

Sofia's phone rings on her nightstand for the tenth time today before she rolls over and grabs her phone before throwing it at her closet doors as Geny walks back in her room with a plate of toast and eggs and a glass of orange juice

Geny sets the plate of food and juice down on Sofia's nightstand

*Knock Knock*

Geny walks out of Sofia's room before closing the door behind her and she walks over to the front door before opening it revealing Oscar

"Is Sofia here?" He asks in a worried tone

"She's-- she's not feeling well today." Geny says before she attempts to close the door but Oscar shoves his foot in it

"I know what not feeling well means. Can I sit with her?" He asks before Geny nods her head and opens the door for him

Oscar walks down the hall before opening Sofia's door only to see only to see her phone in the floor by her closet, the glass of Orange juice pushed into the floor, and Sofia staring at the wall

"Mi reina." Oscar says softly as he closes the door behind him

"Go away." Sofia says but it comes out as more of a whisper

"No." Oscar says as he climbs into the bed next to her before pulling her into him

And in that moment Sofia realized that sometimes home isn't four walls, It's two eyes and a heartbeat

-2 Weeks Later-

Sofia's POV

"Blocks on lock down!" Ruby shouts from outside the bathroom door

"Okay!" I shout back as the hot water hits my body while Harry styles- Adore you plays through my Bluetooth speaker

*2 Minutes Later*

I press repeat as I poke my head out of the bathroom

"Mom said I'm in charge so quit yelling!" I shout before closing the door only for it to open once again

I turn around only to see Oscar as he closes the door behind him and I hold my towel around my body

"Eres tan hermosa." He says as he grips my hips before lifting me onto the counter

"You're especially gorgeous when I look up from between your legs." He whispers in my ear as his hands roam my body before an intense makeout session begins

"Jamal!" I hear everyone yell from outside of the bathroom as the power shuts off

*5 Minutes Later*

My towel is now in the floor along with Oscar's shirt

The bathroom door flies open as I quickly cover my body and my eyes fall on Jamal who is covering his unpatched eye

Oscar grabs his shirt out of the floor before handing it to me and I quickly put it on

"I can't keep another secret." Jamal says nervously before uncovering his eye

"And you have his name tattooed on you." Jamal says before hurrying out of the bathroom and Oscar pushes the door closed

"Wasn't really a secret anyways." I say with a small laugh as I take Oscar's shirt off before handing it to him

*5 Minutes Later*

I'm now in my own clothes and Oscar has his shirt back on

"Fine. I'm changing my answer. I'd make love to Jamal and marry Ruby. Happy?" Monse asks as Oscar and I walk out of the bathroom

"I am. Because even though we're married, we're having sex, and a lot of it." Ruby says

"She made me get clipped." Ruby whispers to Jamal causing Oscar to erupt into a fit of laughter

"Uh, you wanna play?" Jamal asks him

"Okay. I'd kill you. I'd kill you. I'd kill you. I'd kill you. I'd kill you." Oscar says as he points to all of them

"And I'd smash and marry you." Oscar says as he points at me

*5 Minutes Later*

"You kissed Olivia?" Monse shouts as Cesar hurries into the house

"Damn." Jasmine says

"Shits finna pop off." I say to myself

"Ha! It wasn't me!" Jamal says as the alarm on his phone goes off

"Is it true?" Ruby yells

"You know they boning, right?" Jasmine asks

"Wait. Is he the guy?" Olivia asks

"This isn't about me. It's about Ruby. He's in love with Olivia." Monse says

"What--" Ruby stutters

"Can we just all take a moment to appreciate the fact that, for once, I was able to keep a secret." Jamal says excitedly

"You knew?" They all ask him

"Why would you sell me out like that?" Ruby shouts at Monse

"What do you mean, 'Sell you out'?" Monse yells as they all start screaming at each other

"And you? What type of friend are you?" Ruby shouts at Jamal

"Sofia is back together with Oscar and she has his name tattooed on her wrist." Jamal blurts out

"When we're you gonna tell me?" Ruby yells as he looks at me as I step closer to the table

"I don't have to tell you everything! And besides you didn't ask!" I shout

"Bitch, I got a brick in this bag." Jasmine yells at Monse

"You weren't even invited tonight." Monse says

"Y'all messed up!" Oscar says loudly causing everyone to fall silent

"We got business." Oscar says as he looks over at Cesar before he grips my hips and pulls me into him before he connects our lips

"What about the lock down?" Cesar asks as Oscar walks over to him

"It's done." Oscar says before he and Cesar exit the house and I walk over to the couch

"And y'all wanted to kill me. Shame." Jasmine says before I pick up a pillow off of the couch before launching it across the room and it smacks her in the face

"I'd kill you too." I say before walking into my bedroom
