The next morning I got up to see Rhianna asleep in bed. Her hair was all messed up and snores escaped from her mouth. I smiled and headed into the bathroom. After I did my business and brushed my teeth I noticed something different about me. My skin was a bit paler and my eyes were starting to become silver. I passed it off as morning tiredness and went out in the living room. Through the day I felt sore but I ignored it.
That afternoon my shoulders started hurting so I went into the bathroom and looked at the top half of my back. I gasped. On back were stubs sprouting out. It wasn't bone that's for sure. I rubbed one of them causing pain to shoot up. I gave out a painful gasp. I looked at it once more and then headed back out to Rhianna.
Over the next few days I inspected myself to find my teeth my were becoming fangs, my eyes were becoming silver, my hair turning silver with a tint of black, my skin becoming even paler, my ears becoming elfin, and the studs growing bigger. I shuddered at the thought of what I was going to look like when the transformation was complete. Would I look like that forever? Would Rhianna hate me for what I looked like? Would Jack? I told Rhianna about my changes and she only replied with "Let's ask, Jack."
Jack would come to deliver news but he never noticed the changes occurring. I would always shake when Jack came around. I wasn't scared of him, but scared of his reaction to my changing body. The next few days my body didn't take my changes that well. I would feel terrible all day every day. I just hope this is worth all the pain I'm going through.
