I was next the Dr. Selvig trying to contain the Tesseracts energy as they were evacuating the base. Fury walked in "Talk to my Doctors" he called us over .
"Director " Selvig said running to him with me following close behind.
"Fury you know Im not a doctor" I sassed.
"You might as well be one with your intelligence Agent Grey" he replied ignoring my tone. "Is there anything we know for certain" he continued.
"The Tesseract is misbehaving" I stated crossing my arms over my chest .
"Is that suposed to be funny?" he asked with a hint of amusement that would have gone unnoticed by most.
"No its not funny at all , the Tesseract is not only active shes... behaving " Selvig answered.
"How soon can you pull the Plug ?"
" Shes an engergy source , we turn off the power she turns it back on " I answered
"She reaches peak levels -" Selvig states before getting cut off by Fury
kinda rude if you ask me
" You should be prepared for this doctors , harnessing energy from space " Fury states eyeing both of us .
" You dont have to harness it , our calculations are far from complete " Selvig says gesturing to him and I
" Shes throwing off interference radiation , nothing harmful , low levels of Gama Radiation" I say
"That can be harmful" says Fury as he looks over his shoulder at the Tesseract for a second. "Wheres Agent Barton"
"The Hawk " Selvig says with silent chuckle . "Up in his nest as usual"
"Agent Barton Report " Fury says .
Barton walks by and I give him a sarcastic salute and wink before turning back to my work . He and Fury were talking about what I assumed to be a Tesseract . A woman in a lab coat next to me shouts "Doctor its spiking again". Selvig came running towards us . We start typing on things and just look in utter confusion at the screen . To others our faces probably look like a kid trying to figure out how they got a car into the middle of the mall.
The Tesseract Starts spiking and shaking . As if it getting angry . It shakes the whole base and I grap the desk infront of me to keep my balance . Suddenly the Teseract shoots a big blue beam onto the plat form . It disapears and a man appears , crouching there . I guess the Tesseract opened a portal to let him in . All of our faces were screaming what the fuck except for Furys his face was Stone cold as usual . I walk closer to Fury and Barton to see what was fully going on and maybe help protect these people.
The man slowly stood up . He had long black hair that was super greesy ew he wore a green black and gold suit . He was steaming from the energy of the portal . Sheild Soldiers slowly walk towards him weapons ready to fire . The strange man scanned his surroundings with a smirk . Not threatened or scared by our weapons. God that smirk was creepy .
"Sir please put down the spear" Fury spoke with authority . Barton and I were already in our battle positions ready to take this dude down. The man then looked down at his spear and held it up and blasted at us . Barton pushed Fury out of the way and I ducked down with a shriek .
The soldiers started shooting at him but he easily took them down stabbing them with his spear and blasting them . He threw kniefs at some soldiers and it hit them in the necks . I scrambled under a table to try and recompose my self. Who the Fuck is this guy . He continued fighting and blasting at us . He blasted the table I was hiding under and I stood up and ran next to Barton.
