Tony fires little missles at the huge Leviathen to keep its attention on him. "Well we got it's attention . What the hell was step two ?" Tony speaks through the comms flying away from the thing but making sure its still on his tail.
Steve and I make it back to our friends and help kill some of the foes down to help. I barley pay attention to Stark because my attention is to focused on taking these ugly bastards down. I twirl my Staff hitting them left and right , having to kick some aswell. I drop some through a portal that doesnt go anywhere and grab a few by the neck turning them against their own kind, adding them to our team with my charmspeak. jeez was this a work out
Lighting strikes a bunch of the SOBs when we get cornered. Thor flys down at our aid but is slightly hurt and uses the Taxi to help him stand.
"Whats the story upstairs ?" Cap asks
"The power surrounding the Cube is impenetrable . " Thor speaks
I walk up to him when Tony speaks in the earpieces "Thors right. We got to deal with these guys"
"How do we do this ?" Nat asks
"As a team" Rogers replies.
I take a step closer tho Thor and ask where hes wounded .
"What?" he asks
"Your obviously hurt tell me where so I can heal it " I state back . He hesitates for a moment unsure but gives in. "On my side. here" he says putting my hand where he's injured wincing slightly. I close my eyes and focus . My hand glows purple again and Thor watches the whole thing intently. I pull away with a smile "There , good as new" . He nods apreciatively , us silently agreeing that we're good. We turn back to the task at hand .
"I have unfinished buisness with Loki" Thor booms.
"Yeah? Get in line" Clint remarks
"Save it" Steve says taking over with authority. "Loki's going to keep this fight focused on us and thats what we need. Without him these things could run wild. We got Stark up top. He's going to need us too.." Steve trails off at the sound of a pathetic motor behind him and us looking at it.
Dr. Banner hops off walking towards us. " So, this all seems horrible " he says
"I've seen worse" I say stepping closer to Nat.
"Sorry"
"No we could use a little worse"
"Stark , we got him" The Captain interups
"Banner?" Tony questions
"Just like you said"
"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you." Stark flys around the corner bringing the Leviathan thing with him.
Thor snarls and gribs his hammer tighter .
" I-I dont see how thats a party" The Black Widow comments.
Tony flys closer to the ground and us . The thing copying his movements. I subconsiously take a step back . Bruce looks to us before walking towards it. "Dr. Banner" Steve shouts. The doctor turns to look at him once more . "Now might be a really good time for you to get angry".
Bruce keeps walking yelling a "Thats my secret Captain, I'm always angry". Right before the monster gets too close Bruce grows 700lbs of musle and turns green, punching the beast in the nose. Bringing it down . The back of it starts to fall over its head as Tony shoots it with tiny missles blowing it up . Steve pulls me to him blocking me and Nat and himself with his shield from the falling debris.
The Chitari scream from their places . Not pleased with the death of their beast.
We stand in a circle , scanning our surrounding on alert. I twirl my bowstaff in my hand ready for anything.
"Guys" Tasha says becoming more alert. We follow her gaze to the portal where more leviathans pour out . those things are so gross and ugly , yuck.
"Call it Captian" Tony says his voice sounding muffled and robotic but clear.
"Alrigt listen up." our leader starts . "Until we can close that portal our priority is containment . Barton , I want you on that roof . Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays . Stark , you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out , you turn it back or you turn it to ash."
"Can you give me a lift ?" asks Barton . "Right . Better clench up , Legolas" Tony said as they flew off
Steve continued turning his attention back to us "Thor , you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You got the lightning. Light the bastard up. Grey " he calls to me ."Can you do anything to try and close the portal or make it smaller ?" I smile sympathetically and shake my head " Sorry Cap , its not my portal" . "In that case we three stay on the ground . We keep the fighting here. And Hulk, Smash"
With a grin the Hulk jumps on to a building and smashes the aliens he grabs. He then jumps across to the building on the other side and repates his actions , throwing the dead bodies on the ground.
