I start to wake up again and move , slightly groaning . I rember the previous events and slowly sit up taking in my surrounding . I see Tony walking in and his eyes immediately meet mine silenlty asking if Im ok as he walks around to his bar. I give him a light nod . Loki walks in smirking at me "Glad to see your awake Agent Grey , hopefully I didnt hurt you too much"
"Ah , fuck you." I groan
"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity" Loki asks giving his attention to Stark
"Actually , I'm planning to threaten you" Tony replys making me smile ah good ol Stark
"You should have left your armor on for that"
"Yeah . It seemed a bit mileage and you've got the Glow Stick of Destiny" the statement causes Loki to look down at his scepter smileing. "Would you like a drink?" Stark asks
"Stalling me wont change anything"
"No , no . Threatening . No drink ? Are you sure ? I'm having one"
"Can I have one please" I ask . Loki sends me a glare to shut up and I ignore him . Stark mouths a 'No' to me in I pout at him playfully.
"The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that . What have I to fear ?" Loki says clicheingly walking to the window to look over New York.
"The Avengers" Tony replies shrugging . Loki gave a questioning look and walked towards Tony . I just watch the scene before me not wanting to piss Loki off. "Thats what we call ourselves. We're sorta like a team. 'Earths Mightiest Heros' type thing. "
"Yes , Ive met them"
"Yeah" Tony gives him a wide fake smile "It takes us a while to get any traction. I'll give you that one. But lets do a head count , here. Your brother the demi god" Loki gets annoyed and looks away . "The Witchy Ballerina" Tony continues gesturing to me and I roll my eyes . Really does every one see me as a witch and ballerina . But I am a Ballerina though so that parts fine I guess. "A super soldier , a living legend , who kind of lives up to the legend . A man with breathtaking anger managment issues. A couple of master assassins , and you , big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."
"That was the plan"
"Not a great plan." Tony says after taking a drink. "When they come , and they will, they'll come for you . Especially after you took our precious Valerie here" awe how sweet
Loki smirks looking back at me then to Tony again. "I have an army " Wow hes cliche
"We have a Hulk" Tony says more angerly this time
"I thought the beast had wondered off"
"Your missing the point. There is no throne . There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it . " Tony finishes and takes another sip of his drink. That sounded kinda badass but if he keeps drinking hes gonna be too tipsy to fight.
Loki takes slow steps towards Tony and I defendedly stand up ready to pounce if Loki hurts Tony. "How will your friends have time for me when theyre are to busy fighting you ? And miss Grey here" idiot . the scepter wont reach Tonys heart because of his Arc Reactor and you cant mind control someone who has mind control powers. Loki raises his scepter to Tonys chest getting ready to turn him . His attempt doesnt work and it completely baffles him. He trys again but its no use . "This usually works" mumbled the dark haired men. Tony starts mumbling things about why its not working but Loki cuts him off by grabbing Tony by the throat lifting him off the ground and tossing him to the ground making me even more pissed . God I really really hate this dude
I stay in my position knowing that Tony isnt and idiot and will get out of it one way or another. Loki grabs him again "You will all fall before me " he speaks venom on his word. Tonys yelling "Deploy" over and over again. Loki tosses him out the window . I gasp and yell "TONY" and run to look where hes falling worried. I hear the elevator open and I look to see one of Tonys suits flying to catch him. It knocks Loki down and I duck. See not an idiot
Not two seconds later Tony flys back up in his Ironman suit ready to fight "And theres one other person you pissed off " His robotic voice rang . "His name was Phil" Tony raises his hand to Blast Loki and shoots him down before Loki can fight back .
"Come on Grey , we have a war to win." He says gesturing for me to go to him . I run up and jump to him. Tony wraps a arm around my waist and flys me to to ground. We look up and see the Portal open and Chitari fly out . oh shit
