Captain my Captain

Next was dear old Steve Rogers. I read his file he seemed like a pretty intresting guy. Also he's pretty hot , except for the fact that he probably dresses like an old man. 

Fury and I walked into a gym / boxing arena thing and saw the guy beating the living shit out of a punching bag. Thank god Im not that thing. He didnt even notice our presence. He punched the bag off the hook and it flys across the room spilling the sand out of it . Holy shit. He grabs another one and hangs it up and starts punching this one too. He looks at us when Fury speaks pausing his motions. "Trouble sleeping ?" he asks . 

"I slept for 70 years , sir. I think Ive had my fill" Steve remarks.

 "Then you should be out , celebrating, seeing the world" I say jokingly .

The blonde man eyes us for a minute. His eyes lingering on me for a moment longer. He stops his movements and walks over to his duffle bag unwrapping his hands before continuing. "I went under , the world was at war . I wake up they say we won. They didnt say that we lost." Fury and I step forward.

 "We've made some mistakes along the way" Fury starts. "Some very recently "

"Are you guys here with a mission?" he asks. 

"We are" Fury states.

 "Trying to get me back in the world ?" Steve continues still unwrapping his hands. 

"Trying to save it" I say with a sad small smile handing him a folder. When he sees it he frowns and takes a seat "Hydras secret weapon" . 

I slightly flinch at the name but quickly recompose myself. Fury eyed me "Howard Stark fished that out of the ocean when he was looking for you. " Fury continues. 

"He thought what we think the Tesseract could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. Thats something the world sorely needs." I finish the Directors statement. Steve hands the file back to me . Asking who took it from us. "He's called Loki , hes not from around here"

"Theres a lot we'll have to bring you up to speed on if your in. The world has gotten even stranger than you already know." Fury speaks.

"At this point , I doubt anything would suprise me."

"Ten bucks says your wrong". I roll my eyes at Furys childish guester. Steve ignores this statement and walks over to one of the punching bags throwing it over his shoulder

. "Theres a debriefing packet waiting for you back at your apartment. Is there anything you can tell us about the Tesseract that we ought to know now ?" I ask. 

He replys with a "You should have left it in the ocean". His statement makes me frown and feel sad knowing he meant himself aswell.

Fury and I leave and head back the the Helicarrier already knowing that his answer is a yes.
