Oikawa Joins The Battle

Ushijima protective

I turn around to see my brother, why was he here, and why was he threatening me?
He has always been a lot different from me. Full of life, had friends and sucked at volleyball. His name was Ember, they named him that because of the fire in his eyes. ( this is my own put into the story none of this is canine in haikyuu)

As Ember runs towards Ushijima he yells" WHY DID YOU NOT COME AND SEE ANY OF MY BASKETBALL MATCHES"

To be honest Ushijima was not interested in basketball at all but Ember loves basketball as much as he loves volleyball.

Ember puts Ushijima into a headlock and russes with his hair.

" well you want to go to a cafe and catch up,"   Ember says as letting him out of the headlock.

"Sure," Ushijima says in his normal nonemotional voice.

Hinata prospective

When Ushijima and I went our spirit ways I felt flustered and also I felt my face getting hot. Why did I give him my number so instantly and why did I want to give him my number. I'm so confused. As I was thinking of why did I have these feelings I felt something fall on my nose. I look up and see that something dropped on my eye. I got it was rain! I needed to find somewhere to stay till the rain stopped so I would not get a cold but we're could I go? I'm in the middle of a whole different town. And all of the shops started to close. I decided that I should just keep running home hoping that it would not rain too hard. Also that it did not thunder and lighting. If it was a thunderstorm then I might as well just throw in the towel because I would not be able to make it home

I keep running and running hoping the rain would let up but it only started to come down harder. I was soaked now and needed to be able to find somewhere to stay or dry off or I was 100% going to get a cold.

I still have 2 miles left and it looks like the rain is only coming down harder. The roads started to flood too so there was water everywhere. I was about to be in my town so maybe I could find somewhere to stay like Kageyama. his house was not that far away.  That was my plan at least until I heard a voice behind me.

"Hey small fry what are you doing out here in the rain"

By the sound of his voice, I knew who it was

I turned around with a shocked face "O-Oikawa!

Oikawa's prospective

" Great just great," I said to myself as I looked outside into the pouring rain. " now how am I supposed to get hone without getting soaked and a cold." I sighed then continued to look out the window. " I would not be surprised if anyone got caught in the rain it came out of nowhere" as I looked out of the window I saw someone. I did not pay that much attention to them because I thought it was just another person but then I saw his hair. SMALL FRY what was he doing in the rain, he could get a cold! I decided to go out there and see if he needed some shelter.

As I ran after him I yelled:" Hey small fry what are you doing out here in the rain."

As Hinata turned around with a surprised face he said" O-Oikawa I could ask you the same thing"

I looked at him then realized wait why am I doing this and why am I out in the rain. Then I remembered oh yes this is because of the "love" I started feeling for small fry. All my teammates say its love but I don't think it is.

"I came to see if you needed any shelter there is a gym over there you can use to help you not catch a cold," I said as I started to blush little.

" really thanks" then he smiled, his smile is famous for taking all of the bad things out of a person's head and it seemed to work every single time on me. I started to blush harder than before.

" follow me I said then turned around so he could not see my red face.

~in the gym~

I sat down when we got inside and started to look at the weather hoping that we would not be stuck in here all night. As I checked the weather Hinata sat next to me shivering and started to close his eyes.

I looked at him while he was shivering and sighed.

"Here you can wear my sweatshirt," I said while giving him my volleyball sweatshirt.

"Really thanks" be said and smiled that smile again, I started to blush hard. I just felt like I wanted to kiss him.

As I looked at the weather it did not look good it seemed that we would be spending the night in the gym. Then I felt something fall on my shoulder.

It was Hinata he had fallen asleep, I look at him and blush hard. But I do not abject and just lay my head on top of his. I feel my eyelids get heavier so I closed them and soon had fallen asleep too.

~the next day~

When I woke up I felt something on me, it was my sweatshirt with a note. First I looked at the time and it was 7 am and I think the rain stopped. I unfold the note and begin the read

Thank you for taking me into the gym last night and also lending me the sweatshirt that was really nice of you. The rain stopped at about 3 am and I woke up. So I decided to get home before my parents worry too much.

Btw I owe you one

I look at the letter and smirk, then laugh. I owe you one ey. That could come in handy one day. He looks at the note again then started to get his stuff so he can go home.
