You and a blue-haired boy were both neighbors for a long time, and coincidentally you both were living alone. He was always outside. When you were little, he would be outside playing at the playground. You found comfort in seeing him have fun outside every day and slowly see him grow up.
One day, you saw him leaving in a school uniform. You always homeschooled yourself the very basics but now you had the urge to go outside for the first time in years. You enrolled yourself and was going to school the next week.
You both walked to school together but at a distance for a whole month. He would sometimes give you a nod as a greeting. You both were in different classes but were known as the new kids for joining in the middle of the year.
Until one day, you woke up late.
"Ah, I'm going to miss him," you sighed as you rushed to get ready. You grabbed an apple and quickly left your home. When you opened the door, you saw the boy standing outside.
"There you are, let's go," he said with the shake of his head. You turned around to close the front door and he was already halfway down the street. Did he wait for me?
"You could have left without me," you said when you caught up to him.
"You've walked right behind me every single day and you're gone once. You think I wouldn't be concerned?" he asked, looking the other way. You let out a small laugh.
"I didn't think you were like that," you teased, feeling comfortable around him all of a sudden.
"Ugh, everyone thinks I'm a cold person," Khun scoffed under his breath. He then stopped and turned to you. "Let's be friends. I'm Khun," he offered, holding out his hands. You smiled.
"Alright, Khun. I'm (Y/N)," you agreed, shaking his hand.
