"Scar?" Mumbo walked slowly into the snail house. The house was empty, except a small cat lying on the desk. The cat looked up as Mumbo came in, flicking its tail around. To Mumbo's surprise, the cat started speaking

"You're looking for me?" Mumbo stood there, awestruck.

"Uhhhhh you're Scar?" Mumbo said, snapping out of his awe. The cat looked down at its paws.

"Oh! You're confused 'cus I'm a cat!" The cat meowed playfully, "Gimme a sec, gotta change back." In front of Mumbo's eyes, the cat transformed into the familiar Scar he knew.

"So, what did you need?" Scar asked, getting off the desk as well as knocking a few things off.

"Ya, so I was wondering if you know where Grian is," Mumbo said, "He's not responding to my messages, and I checked both his base and his house, but he's not there."

"Maybe check the shopping district? He's probably just getting a few things," Scar suggested, picking up the materials he had dropped, "Or working on that new shop of his."

"Maybe," Mumbo said, "Thanks!"

"No problem!" Scar called, as Mumbo ran off. He reached the mushroom island in a blink of an eye, while panting a little. I swear I'm getting faster, Mumbo thought, as he approached Grian's shop. Where is he? Mumbo wondered, looking around.

"Mumbo!" A familiar voice said behind him. He turned around, to see his Swedish friend approaching him.

"What are you doing?" Iskall asked.

"I'm trying to find Grian," Mumbo said, "I can't seem to find him anywhere."

"You checked his base?"

"Yep."

"And his house?"

"Mhm."

Iskall paused, thinking. "I dunno, man. Maybe just wait awhile, he's probably just getting resources."

"Ya, maybe."

-------------------------------------------

There was a large thump, making Grian jump.

"That's probably Snowfall," Doc said casually. Indeed it was. Snowfall entered the main cavern, with something dragging behind him.

Wait that's Stress... Grian realized, as Snowfall dragged her to where him and Doc were. She was unconscious, making it easy for Snowfall to bury her arms and legs in ice. Doc looked at Stress, disgusted and annoyed. He then looked at Snowfall, who was grinning proudly.

"This isn't who I wanted, Snowfall," He said, exasperated.

Snowfall's grin fell. "I wanted her. She has potential."

"Arghhh....." Doc groaned, "Why do you have to get side tracked so often...?" Snowfall looked offended.

"What do you mean?!"

"First you get Grian-"

"Ptarmigan."

"Whatever! And now you get her?!" Doc pointed angrily at Stress. "What the hell is wrong with you??" He paused, catching his breath, "Were my instructions not clear enough? I said, XBCRAFTED. Not GRIAN or STRESSMONSTER." They were all quiet. Snowfall frowned.

"I hope you're not forgetting who's leader here. I get to do what I want!" He shot a disgusted look at Doc, "And you don't stop bossing me around it's not gonna end well for you." He stormed off, into the same smaller cavern he came through before. Doc was quiet.

"Dieser egoistisch Dummkopf..." He mumbled after a few moments, as he got back to his work.

"Why do you want Xb?" Grian asked. Doc didn't answer, continuing to work on the bracelet. Grian immediately got the message.

"He has the calming powers that you need?"

Doc nodded slightly. They sat quietly, listening to the faint sound of droplets splattering on the floor.

"Oww..."

They were both startled, looking at Stress as she started to wake up. She tried to get up, but the ice wasn't letting her.

"There's no point trying to get out," Doc said, as Stress tried to break free.

"And what makes you say that?" She asked.

"Believe me, I've tried." Doc replied, "Even if you get out of this ice, which you're not, you're not leaving. This place is underground; the only exit being a hole in the ceiling. Only Snowfall can get in and out of here."

"And Grian over here," Stress said, looking at him. "He's the only one with wings."

"That's true," Grian said, "But even if I do escape, I won't leave you guys here."

"Then don't," Stress said. Grian frowned.

"As you can probably tell, I'm not strong enough to carry both of you, let alone break out of this ice."

"Hosenscheisser..." Doc snickered.

"Uhh, sorry, what?" Grian asked, not sure whether to be offended or not.

"Nothing." Doc said, trying to subdue his laughter.

"Why are you speaking in German?" Stress said, annoyed.

"What?" Doc laughed, "Do you want me to speak in Danish instead?"

"I would like it if you spoke in English, thank you."

"Ok, kælling," Doc burst out laughing. Stress groaned. There was another thump, no doubt it was Snowfall bringing something else.

"Got who you want." Snowfall said, dumping Xb on the other side of Grian. There was a lot of blood on his face, as well as a trail of it from where Snowfall had dragged him in. Xb's blood wasn't red though, it was blue

"Thanks for beating him up," Doc said sarcastically as he stood up. "Sac à merde," He added quietly, as Snowfall turned to walk away. Although he heard him.

"EXCUSE ME?!" He yelled, turning on his heel. "DID YOU JUST CALL ME-"

"A bag of shit? Yes. Yes I did." Doc said, looking straight into his icy eyes.

"Mange tes morts !" Snowfall spat, clearly offended.

"Non! CONNARD !" Doc yelled, trying to offend Snowfall even more.

"FERME TA GUEULE !" Snowfall yelled back, forming an icy dagger in his hand.

"CONNARD !!!!!!!" Doc yelled even louder. Snowfall was well over annoyed now.

"I SAID SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH DOC!" He clutched the ice dagger in one hand, as ice formed around the other to make a giant claw.

"C-O-N-N-A-R-DDDDDDDDDD !!!!!!!!" Doc yelled, possibly managing to scream even louder. Snowfall grabbed his throat with the icy claw, cutting off Doc's scream.

"I said shut your mouth. Or it's not gonna end well for you." Snowfall threatened.

"I dare you too," Doc managed to say, "Kill me." Snowfall paused, still clutching Doc's throat. Doc smiled. "I know you can't do it. There's still a little bit of Etho left in you, even if you buried him in all that ice. He would never kill his friend." Snowfall glared into Doc's eyes. He then loosed his grip, letting Doc go. Just as Doc was catching his breath, he stabbed the right of Doc's stomach with the dagger.

"You'll remember that," Snowfall said, pulling the dagger out forcefully. Doc clutched the wound, bending over slightly.

"I'm sure you won't mess with me ever again."
