"Why can't we just leave?" Vex hissed, "We can get the souls ourselves," The other demons nodded in agreement as Snowfall sighed.

"How 'bout we duel?" Snowfall asked, "If you win, you get to leave and take as many souls as you want. If I win, you have to stay and do what I say,"

"Fine," Vex grinned, cracking his knuckles, "I won't go easy on you," He lunged at Snowfall, his wings spread wide and his claws glistening. Snowfall dodged, forming a dagger in his hand. He stabbed it into Vex's back, as he howled in agony. His arm slammed into Snowfall, throwing him back. He snarled, as Snowfall crashed into the wall. He heard the cheering of his demon friends, as he watched Snowfall stand up.

"You're pretty good," Snowfall panted, "I haven't lost a single fight, you know," Vex grinned, and pulled the dagger out of his back.

"I'm gonna make it your first then!" Vex roared, charging towards him. He pinned Snowfall to the wall, as he struggled to get out of Vex's grasp. Vex felt a sudden pain in his stomach, realizing Snowfall had stabbed him with another dagger. He let go, and Snowfall moved around him slick as a fox.

"I bet you can't deal with a sword fight, can you?" Snowfall smiled, as he formed two icy katanas. He held them ready, waiting for Vex's next attack. Vex slashed at him, his claws barely missing Snowfall's shoulder. The two swords glistened in the sun as Snowfall swung them at Vex, although Vex dodged the icy blades. He grabbed Snowfall's left wrist, clutching tightly that almost snapped it. The icy katana in that hand fell to the ground, shattering. Vex then bit into Snowfall's neck, cyan blood spurted everywhere. Snowfall screamed in pain, as Vex bit down harder. He let go as Snowfall staggered back, clutching his neck. Vex grinned, licking his blood-stained fangs.

"You...little...bastard..." Snowfall growled, clutching his neck tighter.

"You mortals are weak," Vex said, "You're never gonna defeat me," Snowfall scoffed, clutching his other katana. He swung at Vex again, trying to ignore the pain in his neck. Vex dodged again, although the blade grazed his shoulder. Vex hissed as Snowfall shoved him in the chest, knocking him back towards the wall. Snowfall then held the katana high and went straight for Vex's heart.

"SNOWFALL STOP!!" Kye yelled. Her yell rang through his ears, stopping him inches away from driving his sword through his chest. "Think about what you're doing!" She cried, "You're gonna kill the body and release Vex's soul! He can possess others and will do what he wants then!" Snowfall hesitated, then lowered the sword, giving Vex a disgusted look. Vex frowned at Kye, then looked back at Snowfall's icy blue eyes.

"You're not as stupid as I thought," Vex said. Snowfall was quiet, clutching his sword tightly. He slashed at Vex's thigh instead, as the demon fell to one knee, hissing.

"It seems I've won," Snowfall said, looking down at the bleeding demon, "So mortals can defeat demons after all."

-------------------------------------------

"How exactly are we supposed to find them?" Iskall asked, "We can't exactly wander around in the streets," Hayden thought for a moment, then her face lit up.

"You're souls! You can possess things!" She looked at the tied up guard, "One of you can possess that one while I can get another." She rushed out the door before the two could respond.

"She gonna get another guard?" Doc said, "Demons are really stupid, aren't they?"

"I dunno," Iskall said, sitting down at the table, "She has a point though," They were quiet, as they listened to the bustling of the main street.

"Hey, Doc?"

"Hm?"

"You don't have a sudden craving for alcohol, do you?" Doc looked at the Swede, confused.

"No? Why?"

"Cuz I do," Iskall said, "Which is weird, cuz I don't drink..."

"Hm...strange..." Doc mumbled. Iskall looked at the fridge in the kitchen.

"Do you think she has any?" Iskall said. Doc scoffed.

"She's a demon. Of course she does."

"Arghh now I'm curious..." Doc was quiet as Iskall continued to stare at the fridge, "I can't resist it I'm doing it." Doc watched as Iskall walked over to the fridge and opened it, as his eyes lit up.

"She does!" He exclaimed. Doc stayed silent, unimpressed. He grabbed the beer bottle out of the fridge and sat back down at the table, staring at it. Doc stared at it too, as he heard a sudden shuffling. The guard was starting to wake up.

"W-what- Hey!" The guard yelled, "Let me go!" Doc scoffed.

"Let you go? Then what, you're gonna take us?" Doc grabbed the beer bottle from Iskall, whose curiosity was becoming more of an obsession.

"I was just looking..." Iskall mumbled, staring at the bottle. Doc threw the bottle at the guard, who yelped as it smashed above his head.

"Shut up. Both of you." Doc said sternly, as Iskall looked disappointed at him. The guard was quiet, a hint of fear in his eyes.

"Hey guys I'm ba-" said a familiar voice behind them. Hayden walked through the door, dragging another demon. She stared at them, confused. "What happened here?"

"Nothing important," Doc said, "Just that Iskall suddenly became obsessed with alcohol and the guard woke up," Hayden looked at the other two, still confused.

"Wait, you said he suddenly become obsessed with alcohol?" Doc nodded.

"He doesn't even drink, which is weird."

"Shit." Hayden groaned, "It seems Charlie is poisoning his body then,"

"What?" Iskall asked, "Who's Charlie? And what's he doing?"

"Charlie is one of my friends. He's a terrible alcohol addict, and I'm assuming he took your body. That's probably why you're acting like that."

"So, our souls are still connected to our bodies somehow?" Doc asked. Hayden nodded.

"I don't know how it works, it's just like that I guess."

"And what if we get our bodies back? It'll go back to normal, right?"

"Yep." She looked at the two souls. "We should get back to finding your friends though. You can take the guard while your friend can take this one," Hayden dragged the other demon to the center of the room, in front of the terrified guard.

"Um...how are we supposed to possess something?" Iskall asked, staring at the unconscious demon in front of him. Hayden shrugged.

"I'm not a soul if you haven't realized." The souls exchanged uneasy glances, then looked back at Hayden.

Doc laughed nervously, "I'm sure we'll figure it out..."
