"Are you sure with this?"
"We're already here Suho. Stop being so dramatic. I'm just watching his performance like I always do!"
"Like you always used to do..." He corrected.
Taeyeon's lips tightened. After all, she finds this ridiculous too. She wonders if she'd step back again when she sees him. Because she always does. She always has the guts when he's not around but when he's there in front of her, she's being nothing but weak. He used to make her feel strong but now he's making her so weak. How fast things changed.
Not long after they arrived, other bands started playing. As the sun sets, Taeyeon's heart started racing. Because finally the time Baekhyun is going to perform finally came.
"Good evening everyone!" He greeted the crowd, not knowing she's part of it too. He was busy rehearsing his song for tonight and was not able to check on his phone.
"Tonight is a very special night..." The crowd was silent for a while making Taeyeon nervous. She feels that anytime someone would hear her heartbeat because it's pumping so hard as Baekhyun speaks.
"Because I have a special guest to sing with me tonight!"
Taeyeon's heart raced. She used to sing with him everytime. Every damn time. Now, it's just so impossible that he'd call her again on stage to sing with him. Especially when he doesn't even know she's there. Watching him. As he held a woman's hand bringing her up to the stage.
"Hello everyone! I am Ji Eun, but you can call me IU!"
The crowd applauded the two, finding them perfect for each other even at least for tonight.
Suho felt Taeyeon's discomfort as she stood so firm on her position. Not clapping, not moving, and barely even breathing at all.
"Taeyeon?" Suho snapped the hell out of her.
"H-Hmm?"
"You okay? I can always ride you back home if you-"
"Nope. I am going to watch. The show must be special tonight." She said as if everything's okay.
She left the crowd and walked back to her seat with Suho following him. She took a sip from her champagne as the band prepares for their performance. Everyone is excited while she kinda lost interest to tonight's show. However, she decided to stay and hurt herself even more.
