"Baek, you know this is so foolish for the both of you to do..."

"I know... But what should I do? She gave up on me again."

I can't help but sigh in stress.

I remember when Baekhyun called me late at night because he has a "favor" to ask me. And the motherfucker told me he has to leave for a while to take a break from everything. What kind of a favor is that? But of course, because I'm his bestfriend, I asked if Jongin and I could make his "favor" work.

"So? Are you really leaving?"

He played with the wine glass on his hands. I've never seen him this bothered and confused before, even during their first break-up. And this adds to the reason why I think I should really help him.

"What can I do? She said she can't wait for me anymore."

"She said she MIGHT not be there anymore. She didn't totally dumped you, dumbass."

He sluggishly scoffed, "Oh really? Is that supposed to be a motivation?"

I just smirked as I shook my head and sipped from my wine too.

"You like her, don't you?"

I almost choked with the wine. Does he have to ask me that when I am drinking?!

"Yah! What kind of question is that?" I panicked.

"Suho, I know. Don't even try to deny."

"Yes! I know that you know! But still, everytime that question comes from you I feel scared!"

A faint smile curved his lips, "I just want to confirm that there'll be someone who'll willingly take care of my girl while I'm on leave."

"Tch. I can't believe you." I drank from my glass again, "If I am Taeyeon, I won't even run after you."

"Unfortunately, you are Suho."

"Aishh..."

We just smirked and spent the night trying to ease up his pain.

"Just tell me the reason behind all of these when you are ready. Okay? No pressure. I'd make sure she's okay."

I assured him even when I know for a fact that Taeyeon's life without Baekhyun is bland and colorless.

I pursued Taeyeon first to be honest, but when she confessed that she likes Baekhyun, I let go. I am really not that type of person who'll push what I want. Because for me, the happiness of the person you love matters the most to you if you really love them. I know that is kinda foolish, but I am living with that belief for years now and so far, I am contented with what Taeyeon and I have. Bonus, I didn't lose my friendship with Baekhyun.

Now, all I have to do is make sure Taeyeon's happy. I know it's impossible for her to not be hurt, but I want to atleast lessen the pain she's going through. By whatever means, I will make sure she'd cry less this time.
