Baekhyun and I rushed to the clinic the moment we heard about it. We were running like crazy when a lunatic student stopped us.
"Yah! Where do you think are you going?"
"Hera, please, shut it."
"Shut it? You want me to shut the f*ck up when you are obviously mocking my friend by going to the clinic together?!"
"And why is that your problem?" I asked, my patience is nearing its end, I'm scared.
She scoffed at my question, "What did you say?"
I walked near her, "I said..." Closer, "Why is that your problem?"
"Taeyeon..." If Baekhyun didn't drag me pass her, I'd really slap her face.
"Ji!" I called out when we entered the clinic and saw Ji Eun lying on the hospital bed, her eyes almost closed. It seems like she fainted.
"What happened?" I asked the crying Yeri.
I saw Baekhyun rush to Ji Eun he saw her. I even saw him hold her hand but I'm already preoccupied with talking to Yeri about the situation. She dragged me away so we can talk privately.
"She was there at the Music Club Room when we arrived, crying. When we told her to get out, she fainted. Hera said she wasn't eating for days and even failed the recent exams."
My heart broke. I knew it. It is happening again. She did this already when she knew Baekhyun and I were dating. I couldn't believe she even failed the exams now to put up with the drama!
I facepalmed in stress. I definitely feel bad for her. She was my friend. But of course, the first thing that crossed my mind is... am I going to sacrifice again just for her to not hurt?
I looked at Baekhyun who is now seating beside my pale ex-friend. The worry in his eyes is very evident. I bit my lip.
"Unnie... I know what you are thinking..." I felt Yeri's hand on my back. "Do not blame yourself for this."
Junmyeon's eyes landed on me. He was the one talking to the doctor and when he saw me he rushed to me like I was the one who's sick.
"Taeyeon..." He called.
"I'm okay." I don't know why I said that when he did not even ask yet. Or maybe I am trying to convince myself.
