Me and my groupmates were suddenly quiet in the living of our house as we all find it awkward having a group meeting without Baekhyun. They know what happened between us in the past. However they are also aware how good of a pair we are when it comes to this kind of projects.
We are assigned to do a musical next week. Yes, that fast. And without Baekhyun, I just feel empty. Not that I don't trust my team, but, Baekhyun is still a crucial member of this group. I'm at fault. I couldn't make him stay. I did not even try.
Wendy sighed to end the weird atmosphere surrounding the group.
"It's still not over for us to slay this performance, right?" She said while picking on her fingers.
"Of course..." Irene tried hard to not sound bitter but we all noticed it as she failed miserably.
She messed her hair in embarassment. "How could Baekhyun do this to us!" She cried.
I massaged my temple as I, myself, is also lowkey stressed out. But before I could even rant too, a warm hand rubbed my back to calm the storm inside me.
"Don't tell me you cannot do this alone, Taeng? You survived a year without him, right?" Jaehyun blinked his eyes softly to assure me. "And besides, you are actually not alone. We are here. I am here."
"Okay..." I sighed, "Let us first think of a good plot."
"Should we go for a cliche one or a unique one?" Sunny asked.
"Hmm... I wonder what will Ji Eun choose?" Jinki thought.
"I'm sure she'll pick a unique one."
"Wait--" Yeri tapped the table. It seems like a bulb lit up above her head.
