Sky POV

"Here's your stop girls," dad said as he pulled up our driveway. I looked at the time and it was around two thirty in the afternoon.

"Thanks for the weekend dad," Sam said as she kissed his cheek and I also did the same.

"Let me help you two with your bags," he said getting out and going to take our bags from the trunk. We got out and walked beside him. "Is your mother home?"

I shook my head no. "Shawn is probably home. He mostly works from home these days. Don't worry about him, he'll be no problem," Sam said.

We got inside the house.

Shawn POV

"Daddy, can you pwease make me a sandwich," Dave said as he entered my home office.

"Let's go big guy," I said to him as I got out of my chair.

We went downstairs and that was when I heard voices in the kitchen. I got closer and saw Sam, Sky and Omari.

Sam and Sky are suppose to be at school. Beyonce won't be too happy to know that those two cut school.

"Aren't y'all suppose to be at school?" I asked entering the kitchen.

Sam rolled her eyes. "Hello to you too Shawn," she said.

"Relax Shawn. They only just missed one day. What harm can that do? Just chill man," Omari said eating his sandwich.

"Beyonce won't be pleased to know what you did. You promised to take them to school Omari," I spat.

He scoffed. "These are my children and I suggest you stay out of my children's business. I'll handle Beyonce," he said finishing the last bit of his sandwich. "Goodbye babies. I'll see y'all in a few weeks," he said kissing both their cheeks.

Sam sucked her teeth. "You are such a party popper Shawn," she said with a little bit of attitude.

Now I understand that these two are not my biological children but I will not tolerate disrespect in my house.

"Watch how you talk to me little girl. That slick mouth of yours will get you in trouble one day," I said sternly.

Sam rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I'm going to my room," she said walking passed me.

The nerve of that girl.

I looked at Sky and she just smiled at me. I swear she is the opposite of her twin at times. She doesn't give me attitude like her sister.

"Where were you guys such that you ended up missing school?" I asked as I sat Dave on the kitchen island.

She sighed. "We were on a cruise and dad said that what mom doesn't know won't hurt her," she said nibbling on her bottom lip.

I cracked up a smile. "You were on a cruise ship? I thought you said you'll never go on a cruise ship because of what happened in Titanic. What changed your mind?"

She came over and sat next to Dave. "Dad surprised us so I had no time to change my mind. Also, I wanted to spend quality time with him since we see him like once a month," she said. "Are you gonna tell mom?"

"I have to. She's my wife plus if she finds out on her own she'll be livid and that stress ain't good for the baby."

"She's gonna skin us alive," she groaned.

"Until then let's go shoot some hoops," I said and she smiled.

"Imma go unpack then imma come down and show you how real basketball is played," she said taking her bag.

"Is that a challenge?" I smirked sinisterly.

"Imma shoot," she said doing the shoot then she went upstairs with her bag.

I love this relationship Sky and I have. Unlike Sam, Sky is comfortable talking to me and we hang out a lot.

Bey and I sat on our bed just watching TV. Bey had her head laid on my chest as I slowly stroked her arm.

"Baby?" I started.

"Yes boo," she responded.

"Are you okay with the twins skipping school?"

She slightly chuckled. "Why would I be-" she paused and she looked at me. "Did the twins skip school?"

I sat up straight. I cleared my throat. "Omari-"

"Damn it! That nigga gets on my last nerve!" She spat as she got up and she took her phone. I'm guessing she was calling Omari.

"Hello," Omari said on the other line. I guess Bey decided to put him on loudspeaker.

"Give me a good reason why you made Sam and Sky miss school today?" She spat.

"Relax, it was only one day. Those two are smart and they'll catch up easily on what they were learning today."

"That is not-"

Omari heavily sighed on the other line.

"You are such a wet blanket Beyonce. Take a chill pill. Good night," he said and disconnected the call.

I got out of bed and went to her then I hugged her from behind. "Don't stress yourself my honey bun," I said as I kissed her neck. "Just relax and think about the baby," I said rubbing her stomach.

She giggled in my embrace. "Okay papa bear," she said.

I then picked her up bridal style and gentle placed her on the bed. I went to my other side and sat there.

She came over and straddled my lap then wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked with a smiled.

She shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I just felt like staring at someone handsome. Idris Elba ain't here so I then settled for the next best thing," she said smiling.

I gasped. "I'm way fly than Idris Elba," I said and I smashed my lips onto hers. I pulled her closer and we engaged in a make out session.
