Sam POV
3 months later..."I can't wait for spring break y'all," Candy said cheerfully as we all sat in the cafeteria just enjoying our lunch.
"What are you two gonna be doing?" Trey asked as he knocked me upside the head.
This nigga just loves picking on me.
"Sky and I will be having quality twin time. We'll be mostly hanging out at the mall," I said nodding.
"You said it sister," Sky said high fiving me. "We'll be even trying different recipes we saw in the internet. We'll be cooking and baking with some little help from YouTube."
Shawty made an appalled expression. "I feel bad for whoever has to taste your garbage, I mean your food," she said and I threw a grape at her and she caught it. "Haaa! You missed," she said munching on the grape.
"What about Gabby?" Trey said directing to Sky as he batted his eyelashes.
Sky blushed as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "She said she'll be at her uncle's place."
"That same uncle with them restaurants?" Shawty asked and she nodded.
I can't wait for this spring break. It will be just my twin and I. We both deserve a break from everyone and everything. Since mom is now seven months pregnant and now works from home, this spring break will allow Sky and I to be not cooped in the same house with her. I love mom but she drives me crazy at times and I just need a time out.
I hate it when you're so looking forward to something and the time just decides to be slow. That's how the time at school felt like. I'm so looking forward to spring break and now the time just decides to move slow.
"Finally!" Shawty yelled as she got out of the school building.
Sky and I got in Shawn's car and we were off.
Shawn pulled up the driveway and we went inside the house.
"Turn up for what!" I yelled as I entered the kitchen to find Dave eating a fruit salad as he sat on the counter.
"Sammy you're making noise," Dave said.
I went to him and kissed his cheek. "Sorry baby bro."
"Otay," he said eating a strawberry and Sky went to take a strawberry from his bowl. "Sky, did you know that the baby kicked in mommy's tummy and I felt it?" He asked excitedly.
Sky picked him up and placed him on her hip. "You also used to kick mommy when you were in her tummy too," she said.
His eyes widened. "Really?"
Sky nodded. "Yep and you used to kick a lot especially when mommy ate spicy foods."
Dave laughed and he looked at Shawn. "Daddy, Sky said I used to kick mommy when I was still in her tummy. Is she right?"
"She's right. Your mommy used to complain that she can't sleep at night because you kept kicking her," Shawn said and he took Dave from Sky. "Let your sisters go pack their bags because we're going to grandma for spring break."
I almost choked on the apple slice in Dave's fruit salad.
"What the fu-"
"That's right Samantha. Finish that word so I can whoop your behind," mom said as she walked in the kitchen, rubbing her belly.
"Sorry mama," I said lowly. "To be clear, Shawn is just playing right?"
She took the bowl of the fruit salad and started eating it. "No. We are going to Shawn's parents for spring break so go pack your bags, we're leaving in thirty minutes so that we can fly there in the jet."
