Kai helped Nya get into some fresh clothes and tried to distract her the best that he could. There was a lot of negative thoughts swirling around in her head right now and Kai knew he had to support her. He was never good at this kind of stuff but when it came to his sister, he had to at least try.

She wasn't in a good place. She was traumatised. Kai had absolutely no idea what happened, which made him more anxious. Jay could die and nobody, except for Nya, knew why.

All the fire ninja could think about was that they could lose one of the most important members to the ninja team. Jay always made situations brighter and with him gone, the team would fall apart. He hated to say it but the team needed him. This would rip them to pieces. It would rip Nya to pieces.

If they lost Jay, Nya wouldn't be the same. She wouldn't talk to anyone and she most likely wouldn't leave her bedroom. That's why Kai needed to get her to calm down a little. It wouldn't hit her as hard.

Holding her hand tightly, Kai walked his sister down the corridor to the main room where everyone else was. Kai had briefly explained to them what had happened, or rather what he knew, before having to deal with Nya earlier on. They all agreed to go to the hospital together.

As they left, tears began to fall down Nya's cheeks again, making her clutch her brother's hand tighter than before. He, of course, gave her a reassuring smile. She needed to know that everything was going to be okay and that no matter what happened, Kai would be there for her. He would stand with her.

For the entire car journey there, in Cole's car again, nobody really spoke. Zane and Cole spoke a few words here and there but nothing more than that. Kai didn't want to say anything to make his sister more upset, Lloyd couldn't think of anything to say, and Nya... there was just no hope of her saying anything anyway. No one expected her to even open her mouth.  She was stuck with all the choices she had made and the chances that she was too afraid to take.

She knew she would have to make some sort of statement to the police and that's what she was afraid of. She was afraid of letting the truth pour out. It would break her. It would break the team. And it would break Ninjago.

After 20 long minutes of silence, the team finally arrived at the hospital. Cole quickly parked and they began heading inside. Nya stopped and waited until she knew they were inside. Then she glanced up at the sign above to main entrance. It read, 'Ninjago Hospital, Exceptional guilt close to you'. She frowned at it almost instantly. That wasn't how she remembered their ridiculous slogan.

She always hated the hospital's slogan. She just hated slogans in general. They were a waste of time, at least that's what she thought. Jay had always disagreed with her. He memorised pretty much every slogan from every one of his favourite stores. It annoyed her to pieces but she loved how immature he was. A tear quickly filled her eyes.

You're just a big fake. Jay never really loved you.

"Nya!"

Her thoughts were about to take over again but the sound of her brother's voice approaching quickly distracted her. She blinked, looking at the slogan again. 'Exceptional care close to you'.

Kai waved his hands in front of her face, trying desperately to get her attention.

"Nya?" He frowned, his tone of voice was soft and quiet.

She glanced at her brother, who was stood right in front of her, trying to hide the look of guilt on her face. She didn't want her brother to know the truth. He was the only person she had right now.

"Are you okay?" He wondered, his eyebrows creased with worry.

She didn't know what to say. She still refused to speak so instead she just stared at the floor in front of her.
