I couldn't believed it. And I'm pretty sure that Shinki thought the same.

Sakura and Sasuke Uchiha are alive.

Sure they aged, they're....old....

But alive...

"H-How?!? The attack....when he died..." Shinki asked.

"We left the village after...her death..." Sasuke said, referring to her only daughter. "We went on a long journey right before Naruto died. We lived our own life, away from everything..."

"Then we heard the news that you've been killed." Sakura said. "We were way too far to go back to this dimension, and when we finally returned..."

"8 years had already passed..." Sasuke finished.

"Yeah, it's been a long time." I said. "But as you can see, I'm not dead."

"But you were captured.." he replied.

"I traded my life to save the city of the Land of Demons. They took us back, and where ready to use Kurama's power to kill me and use him to rebuild their own world." I explained.

"They were also going to execute everyone who refused to give up their shinobi's life and also those who were gifted with special abilities..." Shinki added. "We were taken to different prisons before our public execution...I escaped, but when I was about to reach Hima to save her from death, it was too late..."

*Flashback*

It was no use, the amount of guards holding him were too much and she couldn't hear him. He started trembling, his eyes watering...

He was fearing the worst.

Suddenly, he couldn't bear to watch the whole scene as he heard the swinging sound of the katana moving against his victim.

"Himawari!!!" He screamed as everything suddenly went white. He couldn't hear or see anything. He sensed how everyone's chakra around him desintegrated.

He couldn't get it. What was happening?

The wind was too strong for him to stand still. He went flying and hit a broken wall that was once part of a house. He went unconscious.

Water.

Drops of water fell from the sky. I closed my eyes feeling the powerful sensation that was overwhelming. I couldn't describe it. My Tenseigan acted for me and vanished. Everything was still silent.

I feel...exhausted.

'You did well, kid.'

"Can I die now?" I asked as a sat on the floor, full of tiredness as the rain kept going.

'As much as I feel your pain in here....I'm afraid I cannot help you with that. The brat will kill me if I let you...'

"He still gives you orders?" I giggled.

"Heh! He has no power over me!" He yelled as I laughed loudly. He heard me for a while until he joined as well.

I sighed, feeling the mix of guilt and freedom I gained now. "Kurama....I set you free."

'Heh?'

"You've done enough for us. You deserve your freedom more than myself." I said as I used my power to let him go. "It's time to part ways."

He looked at me as I released him. 'What would you do now?'

I looked at where Shinki's body was. Trying to hold my worry about him, I turned to face the Nine Tails.

"I'll protect those who seek refuge and those who seek freedom. This land needs new leaves, new will of fire. I will create an alliance whose power will never rely on the old morals of the shinobi world. We will not chase and drain power from your kind. We will create our own..."

Kurama watched me with a smirk as I turned around and walked towards Shinki's body 'If that's what you want.... You know where to call me if you need my help kid...'

I giggled. "Thanks..."

I saw him ran off as I rushed to see Shinki's unconscious body. "Oh lord! Oh lord! Oh lord!!!! Please wake up! Don't you dare leave me like that you idiot!!!"

I kept on shaking him as hard as I could but he didn't respond. I kept on calling him but it was no use.

In shock, I let him go and turned around in sadness. I crawled in a ball, mourning his death.

After a few seconds, I hear him growl and slowly wake up. I lifted my head with my eyes wide open and turned around way to quick to check on him.

"Shinki!!!" I said while accidentally slapping him.

"Ouch!!!!"

"Oh my kami!! Are you-?!?" I said while helping him without measuring my strength. He was obviously in huge pain.

"I'm okay! I'm okay! I'm fine..." he said in between groans.

"B-But how did you-"

"I knocked down some guards. Went right after you."

"But my power...how-"

He suddenly pressed his lips against mines in a huge, passionate kiss. "I was afraid...I saw you up there...and..."

I caressed his face with both hands. I wiped away his tears. "It's over now.... No more crazy people is after us..."

Then I helped him get up. "Let's go home."

*End of Flashback*

"And after that, we returned to the Land of Demons. Stayed there for a while before deciding to create out new village here." I said.

"That's....incredible..." Sakura said.

"The village has been in alliance with Konan , the new leader after Shion-sama died from a strange sickness she was dealing with for a long time" Shinki said.

"But we'll talk about that later..." I brushed it off with a smile. "Iwabe, can you take them to their new room?"

"Iwabe?" Sasuke and Sakura said as turning to the general they interacted with at the forest.

"Sure. Hey Hima, what will you do about Zuko and Kira's prank?" He asked.

"Prank?" Sakura asked as I sighed.

"Oh, I'll deal with them myself once I caught them..." she smirked.
