POV

As a child Kim Jessi or y/n was treated terribly, going through so many orphanages was not how a child of 9 should spend her days. She was forced to run errands at only the age of 6 and the age of 12 she was running 6 part-time jobs. Illegally of course. Now, 9 years in the future, at the gate of adulthood she finally finds herself a steady job, a nice apartment with a good landlord and steady food on the table. Y/n finally thought to herself, "I can now relax." But she didn't realize that in just a few hours her life would change completely.

A few hours before:

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Kim Jessi, y/n: " Ugh, SHUT UP!" With a huge slam, I shut my alarm off, almost breaking my hand while doing so. I slowly got up and rubbed my eyes and looked at the time, it was 5:00

Kim Jessi, y/n: " I really should have gone to bed earlier, seeming as though today is my first day of work" I murmured. Even though I was telling myself that, I still had stayed up till one trying to finish the k-drama that I so desperately wanted to watch. I mean they were about to finally confess till the annoying Kim- whatever interfered. "UGH!" Oops, I didn't mean to scream out that loud. A sudden banging came from the door. It was 5:00, who would be up early except for me?

Kim Jessi, y/n: I slowly crept to the door, trying not to make any noise and peered through the glass.

No one was there...

I sighed a heavy breath and then finally walked to the bathroom putting on clothes and left.

One hour later, at the bakery:

Kim Jessi, Y/n: "Hi, It's my first day here, my name is Kim Jessi but you can also call me y/n."

Cook: "Oh, well just call me cook."

Kim Jessi, Y/n: "Okay!!" "What should I do first?"

Cook: "Just do whatever Jennie tells you to do, she's my niece"

Cook: JENNIE!!!

Jennie: WHAT, WE HAVEN'T EVEN OPENED YET!!

Kim Jessi, y/n: Ummm, hi?

Jennie: Who are you?

Kim Jessi: Hi my name is Kim Jessi, and today is my first day.

Jennie: Oh so you're the new girl.

Kim Jessi: Well, I guess I am......

Jennie: *Eye Roll*

Cook: Jennie, just show her around and tell her what to say, I'll be in the back if you need me.

Jennie: But-

Cook: Just do it.

Jennie: Fine.

An Hour later, 7:00 am

-Store opens-

Jennie: Just greet anyone that comes through that door and just ask them how many people they have and then lead them to a table. Give them a menu and be off until they call you.

Kim Jessi: Okay, that's it?

Jennie: YES, that's it.

Kim Jessi: I already knew she didn't like me so why waste time trying to be friends with her.

Kim Jessi: "Fine"

Ring Ring Ring

A phone rang from Jennies pocket

Jennie: Hmm, that probably my RICH boyfriend calling, well I'll you to do the work! TeeHee!
