Get ready... I got so sad writing the ending for this chapter :')
(I only own Demi and her storyline! I don't own any gifs or pictures I put into this fanfiction!)
~~~~~~
Day, Tess and I left the old man's house after he told us that some man was there for Day and we had to leave immediately. We left, of course, but we left the city and settled near the border of Alta and Winter sector, on a second-floor ledge. Tess persuaded us too, we obliged.
It's also saddening that the man was said to not be there for me too, I mean, I am his partner. I'm pretty sure the people know that I'm his partner too. I think...
The mystery man was said to have cures and knew that Day was hurt and injured, so the plan for tonight was to meet this guy and negotiate or something, I wasn't really listening even thought I should've. It was boring, what can I say?
Day went off to who knows where, and of course I should be worrying about his whereabouts, but I'll leave that to Tess. Fits her "motherly" role, you know what I'm sayin'.
Tess is chilling at our hiding spot, currently, probably organizing and re-organizing our stuff again. Nothing wrong with that, it's just that even if I want to find a tiny little thing, I'll have to take out literally everything just to find where it is. Not cool...
Anyways, I was getting bored at our little base, so instead, I decided to blow things up, cause' why not. No one's going to get hurt... totally (not the sarcasm if you will).
Okay, I'm not going to blow things up... I'm just going to make more dust bombs, sorry to disappoint you.
Walking into an open field I found on the outskirts of the city, I toss my bag onto the ground and its' insides spill out. I packed the bag with all of my supplies to create my round substances that go 'kaboom.' Fun.
Sitting on the ground, like a pretzel next to the spilled contents, I get to town.
Picking up the dirty bowl and placing it in between my legs, I take a bottle filled with a combination of dirt and dust. Opening it up, I precisely shake it three times into the bowl, then recap it closed. Next I grab a jar filled with a sticky, dark brown substance, or how basic people call it, mud sludge, and poor some into the bowl. Putting my hands into the bowl, I mix it gingerly until the mixture is sort of like a darkish brown "doughy" mixture. Then the last and final step, I make it into balls and then place it onto the rusty tray I found in some alley, letting it dry in the sun for about ten minutes.
They weirdly dry fast.
Once its dry, it should explode into dust once it hits something, that's the plan at least.
I make multiple of them, because:
1) I was running low, and...
2) Because Day likes to horde them even though he knows how to make dust bombs, but he claims mine are better.
Makes my ego even bigger. Not complaining.
I also love finding, well, no, more like stealing, those bombs that actually explode and destroy stuff, I just find it fun. Of course I don't want anyone to get caught in the explosions, but you gotta' admit, when the fire just consumes everything, It's satisfying. Like really satisfying.
Ooh, and those electro-bombs are cool, even though I only used it probably once when Day and I pulled something at some military airport. Fun stuff indeed...
Waiting for the needed amount of time the dust bombs need to dry, I pick up one and toss it from hand to hand. Light, dusty, no excess mixture falling out, perfect...
