~Author's note~

HOLY MOTHER OF CHEESE IM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING SINCE FOREVER :C (happy 2021 btw! :D).

I decided to get off my lazy behind and continue this thing, and all of these new comments I'm getting on this story took part in persuading me to continue! I thank all of you for reading this fanfiction, I really appreciate it :')

Not gonna lie when I re-read what I wrote for all those chapters, I was astonished by how bad my grammar was lool, but I promise you I have gotten better (well I hope I did), and hopefully my sentences are actual sentences, and apply with all those grammar rulesss.

Thank you so much for the support and feed back!! Hopefully you like this chapter, and I appreciate all the comments I get! (you don't know how much it means to me lolol) Updates are probably going to be slow (because i'm very busy busy), but I'll try my best!!

Enjoy! Sorry for any grammar mistakes <33

(P.S. Has wattpad been acting up for you guys? Or maybe it's just me and my trashy WiFi)

(I only own Demi and her storyline! I don't own any gifs or pictures I put into this fanfiction!)

~Demi's POV~

"Okay, so when all of this is all over, and I get out of these chains like last time and get out of this horrific place," I start, "Where should I go?"

The guards in my cell make no movement to respond. It's nothing new, sadly.

I've been asking them mindless questions this morning (well at least I think it's the morning... not too sure), and I'm sorta' annoyed that I'm not getting an answer. I mean, I know it's their job to like-- not answer, but still some sign of a response would be real great!

I hum, "How about Antarctica? Heard it's real nice down- no up, up there? No, down... yeah down."

The guards stand as still as a rock; still looking straight with poker faces galore.

"Or," I drag out, "How about up north where Canada or Greenland is at? Honestly I don't know much about those countries but the concept of getting away from this hellhole looks mighty fine right now-"

"Will you shut up #2?" The soldier to my left groans uncharacteristically. "God she's annoying," He whispers to the other soldier in the cell. The soldier to my right nods enthusiastically, and I scoff.

"If you asked more nicely, maybe I would," I tut. "But because you're talking to me in that harsh, harsh tone, Mr. Left, I'll yap away."

The soldier on my left, or as I've just called him, Mr. Left (heh you know because he's on my left and I don't know what to call him so I- yeah.. you get it), keeps his face straight, but annoyance radiates from his body.

I smirk knowing I was the cause of his irritation, and I'll happily push his limits some more. It's probably not the best idea, but I'm ready to do basically anything to keep me busy right now.

"Why do you think the sky is blue Mr. Left?" I ask. I actually have no idea why the sky is blue, or why the grass is green (or over here a very faint green with a hint of yellow). The reason? It's because I was never actually educated on that sort of science-y stuff. Sad, I know. Even if I was educated on that sort of stuff, it had to be yearsss ago, back when I was studying for the Trails. But all in all, when you are on the run at the age of 11, there's really no time to get your learning on.

"What about you Mr. Right? Know why the grass is green, why the sky is blue," I ask. I look over at Mr. Left's face and excitement shines in my eyes, "Or why Mr. Left's face is as red as the Elector's-"
