It's Monday I am still sorting out my feelings for this new role I am playing. Joe said to be there at 7 and I am up in my bathroom brushing my teeth at 5 in the morning. I am fucking exhausted. I decide to wear comfortable yet appropriate shoes because I just know I am going to be on my feet all day. Call it a feeling. After getting dressed I went into the kitchen put on a pot of coffee.

The light flicks on, "Hey you're making coffee in the dark

The light flicks on, "Hey you're making coffee in the dark. Well it's not dark dark but it's dark enough."

"Yeah, I honestly didn't notice. Are you stoked about today? What time you go in?" I asks her.

"I am super excited. Even more excited that we both are financial managers we can definitely hang out and work together."

"No, there's was only one financial manager position open and you took that sooo I'm Joe's personal assistant."

"Oh okay, Ummm that's not too bad. I mean you're going to be working closely with him."

"For him not with him. I guess imma have to wait and see how this goes. You're not dressed so you must have to be in later. Imma call an Uber." I said pouring me a cup of coffee. I mix in creamer and sugar.

"I have to be there by 8 am."

I wait outside on the porch. My ride arrives. There is only one car there. It's a nice car I can only assume it's Joe's car. It's a Ferrari. Kinda hot. I knock on the door I don't know why ain't like anyone can hear me.

"No one is going to here you because we are the only two here." A voice says. I jump a little and turn around. It was Joe getting out the farrari. Doesn't surprise me that it's his.

"I figured but yet I still knocked." I giggle at myself.

"You're early I like that. You passed the first test." He says opening the door. "I went through 5 assistants in the last 2 years. I need someone quick, who can think on their feet, and someone who doesn't talk back."

"Noted." I follow him.

"Doesn't look like you have a car, that's going to be a problem. Do you have your license?"
