Graduation Day

"Graduation day is today, I'm so excited!" Gina jumped up and down in her red and white cap and gown. "I'm nervous!" Nini said, pacing the hallways back and fourth.

"Why are you so nervous, it's a step into life!" "I'm nervous for college, I'm nervous for Ashlyn because she's gonna give the graduation speech, I'm nervous for Ricky because he hasn't even told me where he got accepted into, I'm nervou-" Nini was starting to ramble.

"It's okay, don't be nervous and for Ricky last time I saw him he was in the Auditorium." Gina said. "Gina, come here!" It was Ashlyn. Gina waved goodbye to Nini.

"Auditorium?" Nini whispered.

"Ricky?" Nini shouted once she entered the large room. "Ricky?" "I'm here!" She heard a voice.

Nini made her way towards the large theater stage. "Why aren't you outside or in the hallways or something?" She said. Nini sat down right next to Ricky who stayed silent. "Bubs?" She asked.

"I-I'm just worried and nervous." He mumbled. "I am to but I'm not alone on a stage." She said. She placed her head onto his shoulder and he wrapped one arm around her shoulder before laying his head onto of hers.

"You never told me where you got accepted into..." Nini said, trying to not ruin the moment. "University of Southern California." Nini lifted her head up. "What are you majoring in?" She said looking at him straight in the eyes. 

"I got accepted to Major in Music." Nini gasped happily. "Really!" He nodded and laughed at her reaction. "I told you in second grade that you wouldn't skateboard forever!" He just playfully rolled his eyes at her. 

"This is great news why are you celebrating it alone?" She asked. "Because I can't accept the fact that were all leaving this school, were all leaving each other." He said. "I love this sentimental moment and all but don't be like Ej when he graduated last year." "Nah, that boy cried a river." They both laugh.

"Well well well- we were all looking for you two." They both look up and see the remaining cast who weren't outside. Gina, Ashlyn, Red, Kourtney, Carlos, and Sebby. 

"Did we interrupt something because it was Reds idea to come in here." Sebby said. The two stand up and the rest of the cast walked onto the stage. 

They all stand into a line, holding hands and looking out a the empty theater. "This is so cheesy- I love it!" Carlos said, making everyone laugh. 

"I'm gonna miss everyone." "Were not dying people were just graduating!" Kourtney said.

They all gather into a big group hug. "Okay-is anyone gonna mention how extra Kourts outfit is?" Ashlyn said. Kourtney was wearing a red beret and her gown was sparkled. Nini laughed along with the rest.

"Yo Wildcats!" They all turn to see Miss Jenn smiling. "We got a graduation to go to."

"Next up, we have Ashlyn Caswell." Everyone clapped expect for Red who was getting to emotional but still manage to whistle. 

"Wow, Look at us. A bunch of seniors who are about to take one big step in life. I bet everyone here is nervous for the future that's ahead of us. We all are gonna turn out different. Some of us will business owners, others will be educating kids, some could even be on broadway-" 

"That's me!" Carlos shouted and everyone laughed. "Yep definitely Carlos will be on Broadway." She laughed. "When we grow up and come back to this school for a high school reunion, let's hope by then we aren't the type of adults who try and brag about there jobs- even though some of us might be." She said with a smile.
