"Felicia!"
She turned around at the sound of Morgan's voice, with a hammering heart.
Robert had just got into their limo waiting by the curb, when Morgan walked up to Isa. "I have to talk to you," he said breathless, but looked around at the circus that this event was.
Isa didn't know what to answer and they just stood there, looking into each other's eyes both with a painful expression.
Robert's face showed in the door. "Get in Morgan!"
His eyes flickered between them and Isa nodded and got in. After her Morgan slid inside and the driver took off. Isa and Morgan's bodies touched and the air was humming between them. He was finally sitting right next to her and Isa had no idea on what to say to him; the silence was suffocating at first, and she didn't even dare to look at Morgan.
"I didn't know you were coming," Morgan finally said.
"We didn't think you'd be here," Isa replied shaky.
"Well..." Robert had a confession. "I knew he would; it's Hayley's film."
Isa glared at her brother; he had played her?
"You two have to talk to each other!" Robert resumed. "Would either of you have come if you knew the other would be here? I knew what I had to do!"
Isa didn't know what to say and she still didn't dare to look at Morgan. She thought she had been too hurt to handle the proximity of him, but now, suddenly Isa knew she urged it; she needed and craved it. Could she expose herself for that kind of pain again?
It took a few excruciating moments, before Morgan cleared his throat. "Yes, I really need to talk to you, Eysa." He pronounced her name in the way he always used to, and it was sweet music for her soul.
Her eyes could not refuse her to savor the delight his features were to her, and the instant they landed on his deep brown eyes, she was lost and saved all in one.

The two made plans, and next day after breakfast Isa took the elevator down, where Morgan waited in the foyer, as agreed. He gave her a weak smile while Isa walked up to him; none of them knew exactly how to act, but he kissed her cheek politely. When their skin touched chills went up and down Isa's spine again and her stomach was fluttering as of butterflies.
"You've lost weight."
Isa snorted. "Yeah well; appetite is a luxury..." She intended for sarcasm, but he looked like she had slapped him over the face. She murmured sorry as they walked out the entrance and down the street.
"Do you wanna go down by the beach?" He asked polite.
"No!" Isa heard how rough her voice was as she snapped at him. "That holds happy memories; I don't want to ruin those," Isa mumbled silent, and he just looked puzzled at her.
They strolled along the street, heading towards Hollywood Boulevard, they both had a lot to say, but nobody knew where to start. As they walked by a newspaper stand, there were already pictures of the two of them looking incredusly at each other outside the limo, and then getting in together.
Could we really be hot news, still? Isa wondered.
Morgan followed her puzzled look. "It looks like we're fighting." His face was just as confused as hers. "Were you mad at me?"
