Morgan was restless on the flight over to New York and arrived in the morning of Christmas Eve. As always there were a lot of people at this airport, but they seemed to be focused on getting to their destinations, and not stalking some poor defenseless guy like him. Morgan was grateful.

He went through customs, got his bag and went out to get a cab.

So used to people shouting his name, Morgan did his best to tune them out, and walked straight to the door. For the first time in a really long time, he had no patience for his lovely fans; Morgan just wanted to get to Isa's place without any interceptions. His phone signaled just when he was about to get into a cab, but as he looked at the phone it was Isa.

"Are you too cool to stop and talk to me?"

He furrowed his brows. "What do you mean?"

"Turn around!"

Morgan turned and there she stood before him, looking like a goddess as usual. He just lowered the phone. "You came to meet me?" He was stating the obvious.

"Yes, but with you being this famous movie-star and all, you just didn't listening to anyone calling your name, right?" The teasing sarcasm was flowing and she gave him a weak smile.

He had always praised his fans and now guilt swept over him. "You called for me in there?"

"Mhmm..."

"I'm sorry!" He felt really bad, but had other things on his mind than to dwell in guilt. She was about to turn towards the row of cabs and Morgan gripped around her wrist. "May I hug you?" He had been a bit weary and just held her hand the last time they met.

With a smile on her face she took the few steps that separated them, and slid her arms around his waist. Morgan caged her in his arms, careful not to hit her with the cast. This was the best Christmas gift ever, and he didn't want to let her go.

She untangled her arms and reluctantly he let her go. "Are you ready to get home?" she asked and just the word home felt like love. Morgan looked into her blue eyes and they revealed that her confidence was only skin-deep.

Her long blond hair swayed as she raised her arm like a true New York chick and got them a cab in a blink of an eye, and the driver skillfully took them to her parent's apartment building.

In the small area in the elevator Morgan allowed himself to look straight at her. "It's really nice to see you; you look amazing!" Actually, she was just skin and bones, but she did her best to hide it with those clothes.

She blinked. "Yeah, you too."

He could see her how shallow her breathing was, and if it had been any other girl he would have smirked by now, but they were pretty much in the same position. Morgan wanted to circle around her like a lion would a prey, but he couldn't even run his Vincent-player-act. The thought of pressing the elevator emergency stop and revel in her right here crossed his mind as they held the eye-lock during the entire ride up to the right floor.

The binging sound from the elevator was the thing that snapped them out of the hypnosis and they walked out on the landing. She opened the door and held it up to him; wasn't that his job?

They walked into the penthouse. "Morgan! It is so nice to see you again!" Krystal came and gave him a hug and it felt amazing to be back here. "Merry Christmas!" She smiled wide.

"Merry Christmas to you Krystal, and thank you for having me over." Morgan did his best to be respectful to this fabulous family.

"Don't be silly, of course you're welcome!"
