Chapter One- Already Enemies

~~~
"Right come on everyone." Said a way to cheerful Mr Daniels. "Find a seat on the coach. Don't give me those faces Kathy. It's going to be fun!"
"If you call being tortured in the woods, and forced to live like cavemen for five days fun, then you must be crazy." Grumbled Kathy. Kathy was short yet slim, with blonde hair that had obviously been dyed several times to get it to that colour. Her face was caked with so much make up, that you could scratch at it several times and it still wouldn't have come off.
"I bet someone will die before we get back." Mia said under her breath. A few girls sniggered at that.
"I think Mr Daniels is right, I'm sure we'll have fun." Said a small girl, in a little more than a whisper.
"Yeah, maybe that's why no one wants to sit next to you Skye" Kathy said pretending to be sorry for her. All of the girls in her little gang of friends laughed.
"There's no need to be rude." I said from behind her. Some people just really drive me round the twist.
Kathy swivelled round. "And who exactly are you then?"
"I'm no one you'll know, thank god."
"I asked who you are." Repeated Kathy, getting a little more agitated.
"I'm Artemisia, though it's nothing to do with you."
"You know, I will find out everything about you." Kathy threatened.
"Yeah, likely story. I bet the few brain cells you have won't even remember my name."
"Did you just make fun of my intelligence?" Kathy said, astounded by this.
"What intelligence?" I replied quickly.
"Ohh!" Said a few people, who had decided that our fight was more interesting than their lunch.
"How dare you!" Kathy spat, disgraced.
Kathy reached to grab my arm, but I turned her arm, grabbed Kathy's wrist and pushed her to the floor.
"Uhh!" Kathy screamed whilst still sitting on the floor.
"Kathy! Get off of the floor!" Said a surprised Mr Daniels.
"But...I...She..." Kathy stammered.
"I don't have time for all this nonsense, sit back in your seat."
Kathy stalked off grumbling, whilst giving me evil glares. I walked to the only empty seat left on the coach.
"Um is this seat taken?" I asked the boy sitting next to it.
"No, no. You can sit there."
"Thanks."
"You had some pretty slick moves back there." Said the boy.
"You saw?"
"Everyone did, but it's fine no one likes Kathy."
"I'm Artemisia by the way."
"Callum. So I haven't seen you round here before."
"Oh, yeah, I'm new."
"Well you have just made a pretty strong enemy. Although Kathy may not be that smart, she knows a lot of people and can make your life a living hell."
"Really?" I asked doubtfully.
"Oh, yeah. There was this one boy who went to our school, kinda geeky, anyway one day he was late for his class and so was running down the corridor, and he ran straight into Kathy and her Latte went all over the new dress she was wearing."
