"Hello Theo and Promise." Mrs. Rose said to us as we walked into her house. I was always surprised by how many siblings she had. There where children everywhere. "How was your day?"

"Fine, mum." Theo said. "We gotta go.. do homework." She smiled and dragged me up to her room, shoving more of her siblings out of her way as we went. It reminded me of the movie, Home Alone.

When we made it, she closed the door and looked around to see if anyone was hiding. She luckily found no one and then came to sit next to me on the bed. I laughed at her for doing that because it was such a silly thing, being an only child, I never had to worry about little annoying siblings. Theo took out her phone and started scrolling through Instagram and Tumbler.

"So what's up with Zayn and that party?" She laughed.

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I don't even know if we should even go." I sat up and said, "We've never been invited to one of his parties. Why now? Why is this time different?"

"I don't know, I was thinking the same thing to be honest."

There was a long pause before I broke the silence. "I don't know. Maybe we are over thinking it, like he just invited us to a party." I said relaxing into the bed again scrolling through Twitter.

"Yea, but this is Zayn Malik's party, let that sink in." She laughed to her self. "When was it again?"

"Uh... I think he said next weekend."

"Cool, then I can go. And so can you." She had a twinkle in her eye and a smirk on her face.

"Theo, what's going on...?" I questioned.

"Promise. We are both single, young women. Let's live a little, yeah?"

I thought for a second. "I don't like you sometimes." She giggled at my response.

I went home to get some cloths for the night and the next day since I was staying over at Theo's house. I made my way back to her room, bumping into Louis, her older brother.

"Ah, Promise! How are you tonight?" He flirted a bit.

"I'm well, thanks Lou. Yourself?"

"I'm fine, thank you." He said.

"Gosh, we're too formal." I laughed.

"We really are, aren't we?" He hopped off into the kitchen and I kept walking to Theo's room. I shut the door as I came in and threw my bag on her bed.

"Louis is here." I told her, not knowing if she knew or not. He was never home, always at a friends house or some party. He was friends with the people Zayn hung out with outside of school.

"Really?" She questioned walking out of the bathroom, drying her hair with a towel.

"Mhmm. He's such a flirt." I chuckled.

"Gosh, tell me about it." She said. "I think he's going to Zayn's party too, but he'll be to wasted to notice us." We both laughed at her comment, knowing it was true.

An hour later I went downstairs to get something from the kitchen. Louis was talking on the phone, but hung up when he noticed me in the door way looking at him.

"Who was that?" I asked him.

"Zayn. He told me he invited you and Theo to the party Saturday, you going? I think you'll like some of our friends." He said, lifting one eyebrow.

"I think I have to go, Theo's making me." I sighed grabbing cookies and sodas from the pantry and fridge. "I don't even talk to Zayn in school, do you know why we where invited?"

Louis watched me and said, "I didn't ask why, I was just a little surprised he actually asked you."

"Why? Are we not cool enough to go?" I said sarcastically. My phone buzzed on the counter next to the food.

From Theo:
Promise, get your butt up here and stop flirting with Lou.

To Theo:
I'm not flirting I'm talking

From Theo:
;)

I rolled my eyes at her texts and looked back at Louis. "No, I wasn't saying you weren't cool enough, just... What's the word? Innocent?"

"How do you know what I do behind closed doors?" I winked and ran upstairs. He was right, Theo and I where both 'innocent'.

"What took you so long?" Theo complained, taking all the food from me and putting it in the middle of her bed.

"I told you, I was talking to Louis."

"'Bout what?"

"The party."

"What did he say?"

"Nothing really. He was just surprised that we're going. He also said we'd like his other friends." I thought of what the party would be like. I've been to other parties but I had a feeling that this was going to be different. The parties I went to weren't hosted by 'bad boys', or popular people, just normal teenagers wanting to have fun.

"Hello?" Theo asked waving her phone in front of my face, snapping my attention towards her. "Are you here now? Cause you where just lost in space."

"Yea sorry. I was just thinking."

"About the party?" I nodded. "Yea, don't think about it to much. It's not the first time we've been to a party." She laughed.

"I know, I know. But how can I not? I mean just think of the people we are going to be with, what the music will be like. Think of what Zayn and all of his friends will be like. I mean I know what Zayn is like in school, but outside of school he could be different. I mean, not like that's a bad thing but--"

"Promise!" Theo interrupted. "Relax will ya? It's just a normal party."

"Our idea of 'normal' is different from his."
