Tzuyu POV:

I try to not think about Sana as I walk to the airport. But it's hard. It seems like even the flowers at the sidewalk try to remind me of her. I gulp, trying not to cry.

The flight to Taiwan goes in a few hours. Even though I was born there, I see Korea as my home country. Here are the people I love and care about... one person in particular, I love and care about... I shake my head sadly, trying to dissipate the thoughts of Sana.

I don't even know where to sleep in Taiwan. I am not in contact with my family anymore since I decided against becoming a doctor as my father wanted and moved to Korea to become a dancer.

I sigh and sit down at a bench to wait for my flight. I sigh again. I don't want to leave. It feels like I would finish a life chapter with leaving the country. I think of Sana. She'll probably think, I am a bad person. I am okay with that, I deserve it. I am just sad about her being hurt and I know, I hurt her.

"Excuse me?" suddenly a female voice makes itself noticeable. The girl is about my age but she is a lot shorter than I am. She wears a white hoodie which forms a contrast to her dark, shoulder length hair. "I draw things I find beautiful. Do you want to have a look?" She smiles cutely while showing her dimples.

I look at one page of her notebook. It's a drawing of me being deep in thoughts. It's more like a sketch but the girl's talent is indeed noticeable. I responds with a smile and blush a bit. "Wow. You are really good at this."

The girl giggles and winks at me. "Thank you. Unfortunately the drawing is not as pretty as you but anyways. I am Chaeyoung by the way."

"My name is Tzuyu. Nice to meet you." I introduce myself.

"Alright, Tzuyu. The reason I wanted to talk to you was actually not to compliment you. That was just a positive spin-off. Have you seen my friend? She is about as tall as I am. Has long, light hair... and her skin is as pale as tofu."

"I'm sorry, I haven't seen her. To be honest, she could have walked directly in front of me and I wouldn't know. I was so deep in thoughts." I smile, apologetically.

"It's okay. Do you help me looking for her?" I look at the big clock which is in the middle of the airport hall. "I am sorry. But my flight is the next and-"

Chaeyoung looks at me with big puppy eyes. "We have to take that flight too." My eyes flick anxious between the clock and the girl in front of me. "Alright. I'll help you."

Chaeyoung and I search the hole area for the tofu girl but don't find her. On the way I tell my new friend that I am on my way to Taiwan and don't know where to stay. Chaeyoung offered to take me with her and the tofu girl to their friend's house. "Chaeyoung. There are only twenty minutes left till the plane starts. Maybe she is already there." "If she's there, I'll punch her." Chaeyoung responds and we make our way towards the plane.

"Dahyun, why didn't you answer any of my calls?" Chaeyoung asks angrily as the airplane rises into the air.

"flight mode?" her tofu friend smiles, excusing.

I look out of the window and watch the houses and streets below us, which get smaller every second. The feeling of flying is so fascinating. After a while, I listen to music. My look goes towards Chaeyoung. She seems to be in her own world while drawing a portrait of someone who seems familiar.

Dahyun notices my gaze and chuckles

Dahyun notices my gaze and chuckles. "She always draws things or people that inspire her. But with this one", she nods towards the art Chaeyoung is busy with, "she seems to be obsessed with. She is working on it for days." And that's when I realize why the drawing is that familiar. Chaeyoung draws Mina. "Aww. Mina has to see this. It's true art." I admire the drawing.

"I told Chaeyoung to participate in a fan meeting and give the finished drawing to her but Chaeyoung says, she would pass out if she met her idol in real life. You have to know, my friend is a women magnet actually. It's like she has a spell on her or something that everyone falls for her but when it's about Mina she becomes shy." Dahyun informs me.

That's so adorable. I would love to take my new friends to Sana. She could introduce-. No. I won't take anyone to Sana since I won't see her ever again. I fight against my tears. I don't want to cry.

I have to be strong for Sana.

But I am weak and a tear leaves my left eye silently.

I rush to wipe it away and try to focus on something else.

"Are you okay?" Dahyun asks with a worried expression. "Yeah. I'm fine. It's just-" my voice cracks and I force myself to look outside the window and concentrate on not to cry. I try to act like I am interested in the city which spreads out underneath us. The pale girl just shrugs and pays attention to her mobile phone again.

2 hours later

Chaeyoung and Dahyun's friend is very nice. She introduced herself as Jihyo to me and lives with her husband in a small apartment in the city Tainan. I am so grateful that they invited me to stay with them until I'll find my own apartment here. Maybe I can make myself a living in Tainan.

Is it possible?

A life without Sana?
