"You got the job."

"Wait, seriously?!" Jo realized her tone and quickly added, "Thank you," calmly.

The interviewer chuckled and looked up at her. "You start tomorrow morning, 6 A.M., if that's okay with you?"

Jo nodded.

"For now, maybe you'ld like to observe your coworkers? But please don't disturb them. They still have a job to do. Of course we'd still teach you, and it's your decision to stay," she added.

"No, it's fine! I'd like to have some knowledge of how to do things." Jo smiled.

"Well then, have a good day then, Joanne! I have a lot of paperwork to take care of."

"I already told you, call me Jo!"

"Of course, Jo." She winked. Jo slightly blushed and looked away.

"Have a nice day, Daisy!" She said quickly and suddenly went through the door. She leaned back on it and smiled to herself.

"I got the job!" She exclaimed and punched the air above her.

He's been searching for hours. He violently shoved his hand in his lavender purple hair and sighed, as if it'd calm his anxiousness.

The Grand Library was huge. It would probably take days to search the whole thing. He decided on one more hour of searching then to sleep on it.

He got up from the floor that he was just sitting on, large piles of books around him, and looked around a bit before going into the next aisle of books.

He was walking for a few minutes, stopping once in a while to skim a book. Then, just then, a book caught his eye.

It didn't have a title which was strange, and his curiosity got the best of him, so he pulled the book.

Only, it wasn't a book.

It was a lever.

He yelped like a girl, which he was not proud of, when the bookshelf lowered into the ground and revealed a latter. He looked down curiously, a million thoughts crossing his mind.

What in the hell is down there?

I could die if I go down.

What if I die?!

This is not a good idea...

WAIT WHY AM I GOING DOWN THE LATTER?!!

I'm so stupid!

Father's going to kill me if he finds out.

That was his last thought as he finally planted his feet on the floor. He was sweating profusely, as he was very nervous.

Very nervous.

The corridor looked like it wasn't even part of the castle. It wasn't a dark, mundane purple wherever you look. The walls weren't made of brick, it was made of stone. It was lined with purple torches for light and had a regular wood door at the end.

He walked down the small corridor with caution, and slightly opened the door quietly.

He peered in the room. It was a smaller library.

Why would he need another library? Unless....

He took a quick moment to make sure absolutely no one was in the room and walked in. He made sure to close the door behind him to not make it suspicious if someone were to come down here.

He stopped in front of one of the bookshelves and looked into the selection.

If he had eyes, they would be wide right now.

They were all forbidden books.

Maybe the book I'm looking for is in here?

He counted on it and began searching.
