Yes.
Yes!
He finally found what he's been looking for!
It was in a forbidden book of spells, all of which were focused on boosting a stat, magical or physical.
The only problem is is that it takes two people to preform. One gives magic power, the other receives it. You can't make magic out of nowhere.
He knew this already. It's just he didn't know how to transfer. He already had someone in mind.
Why the spell was forbidden though? You are born with magical power. Everyone is, no matter what race, but certain races or species can't harness it correctly or is not born with enough to make one spell.
If you give too much of your magic power you die, which it depends on what species you are. On the other hand, if you receive to much for your body to handle, you...
pop...
It's risky for both parties.
But he was willing to try. For his kingdom, his friends, his family, and- heck!- all races! No one was benefiting on the king's choices but himself.
Daviidion "David" Daímonas was going to try.
For everyone.
So, that's exactly what David would do. For her.
His mother didn't agree with his father either....
But she was dead.
She was beautiful and kind and sweet. She believed in peace. You can ask how his parents got together.
Ever heard of the saying "opposites attract"?
But that's not what we are supposed to think about. We are supposed to think of ways to save the Three Realms, but it all starts with getting the hell out of here.
David was getting nervous just thinking about her. He was already sweating.
I gotta start this thing before Father finds out.
I just got to sneak out of this secret library with this very important forbidden book that could get me killed for just holding it, in a castle that is heavily guarded WITHOUT getting seen....
so easy peasy....
right?
Well, he's trying to convince himself as he is already sneaking past the door of the Grand Library without him noticing. He does this sometimes, doing something without thinking- but he is thinking....? Like overthinking- if that makes any sense.
He somehow made it to his room without getting caught. He sat on his bed and placed the dusty book in front of him. He opened it once more and examined it more closely.
He needed Star-Dust to make a magic circle. Usually, you wouldn't need anything to make a circle, you just say the encantation and it makes itself, but this was a very powerful spell. And there was an issue....
Star-Dust isn't available in the Demon Realm, as it is up above the clouds with the Gods. David doesn't know where he could get such an item. There were Fallen Stars occasionally, but since the Mortal Realm is above the Demon Realm, they fall there instead of the Demon Realm.
'Well this is going to be harder than I thought...' David thought. He needed a plan because he clearly wasn't going to get to the Mortal Realm just by sitting around waiting for something to happen.
He put the Forbidden Book in a secure place. He cast a spell on it so it was sure no one would find it.
He decided to wait a bit before going back to the Library, as to not seem suspicious. He layed down and closed his (non-existent) eyes and went over the plan again. It has been in the works for quite a while. And he wasn't alone. He had been in charge of getting everyone to the Mortal Realm. This place was suffocating and most demons here followed his father's rule, knowing how bad he was.
But it's not like they had a choice.
Actually, demons are pretty much the same as any other race, there are good ones and bad ones. Demons being all bad is just not true. They are just as afraid of the King as anyone else. That being said, they followed him so they won't all be killed, but that's not something the people of the other two Realms knew.
After waiting a couple more minutes, he headed out into the hallway. And he felt a magic presence that has always been there, but he has never really thought anything of it. David's Mother, when he was young, but old enough to be able to sense magic, told him not to worry about it and to ignore it, and as he trusted her dearly, he obeyed her. He guesses that it just stick to him, so he never checked.
So, he put his hand on the wall the magic power was coming from. It revealed itself as a sealing spell. He took a deep breath and tried to disperse it.
.
.
.
.
... It didn't work.
He was tired after the attempt because it was so draining
I'd never be able to disperse this spell on my own. I don't have enough magic power.
He sighed.
That's why Father didn't hide the magic presence. He knew I wouldn't be able to open it in the first place.
He heard a clicking down the hall, panic and anxiety oozed in him, leaving him there in a sweaty puddle. His brain started to work over drive and he started doing things without thinking.
Find out what he does on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z!
That was a bad joke but that's the end of this chapter.
