A dream. It all started with a dream. No, not a dream. A nightmare. A nightmare in which she experiences the past and the future. A nightmare in which she knows but doesn't.
A purple fire. A hot, ruthless fire burns at her heart, turning her insides to ash. But she goes on. She needs to find out who is causing this aching.
A demon. One she hasn't seen before, stands at the back door of the house. She reaches out. He starts to turn. She is so close. You can almost see his face. Just a little more. Then...
Lucy wakes up in a cold sweat.
'Why? Why does it have to remind me?' she thought, 'Who is that man?'
Her thoughts and questions are interrupted by a knock. Lucy sighs as she wills herself out of the comfortable bed. The knocking continues.
"Hold on! Let me get ready!" she calls down the stairs. She groaned when the knocking continued, a little louder this time.
She makes her way towards the bathroom, which is a little ways from the stairs, ignoring the loud knocking. She turns on the shower and let's the warm water wash her whole body. Her dark purple fur being washed with shampoo and conditioner. It calms her. Lucy really needed that right now to get her mind off of the nightmare.
Once Lucy is finally done, she gets ready. She wears a nice pinkish-white shoulder-less long sleeve with short-shorts. Along with those, she wears stockings and dress shoes. Her naturally dark purple hair bouncing freely. Her slightly tan-skin and green eyes glowing. Or eye. Her left eye is covered with her hair.
She goes downstairs to answer the door, even though she knows what's coming.
"Finally! It took you hours to just take a shower!"
"Come on, Elle! I didn't take that long!"
Elizabeth Cyclo, Elle for Lucy. She had brown hair, blue eyes. A lot of blue eyes. She was born a little mutated because of her heritage, but she didn't like talking about it. She was fair-skinned, had big red horns, but no tail, a little on the plus side, and was around a foot taller than Lucy. She wore a blue shirt with a black varsity jacket. Some ripped jeans that show a little bit of her other eyes.
"Really?" Elizabeth said, unconvinced, "This is my first day off in a while, and you're going as slow as a literal snail!"
"Okay, fine! I admit it, I took a while, but just because I am older and finished college first, doesn't mean you gotta be whiny about it." Lucy 'hmphed', crossed her arms and looked away, like a child would.
"You don't act like it!"
Lucy gasped and mockingly put her hand on her heart. "How could you say that?"
Elizabeth sighed and took Lucy's arm and started to drag her outside into her car. Just before she was there Lucy stopped her.
"Wait! Wait! Let me go get my purse!"
Elizabeth sighed once again and let her go. She barreled into the house, grabbed her keys and put it in her cute hot-pink dog purse, ran outside, and locked the door behind her.
"Alright! Let's go!"
