Dakota
I get out of the plane. Wow, Connecticut. I suddenly miss North Carolina, and the fresh air from there. It's freezing cold on the airport. I hate when indoor places are freezing.
Before getting into the plane of my summer blast, mom kissed me goodbye saying "I love you, but you need to change." I only rolled my eyes at her and pushed away Nick before he could kiss me goodbye.
I see my guide, a short girl with glasses and a blonde braid. I sigh and she comes towards me. "Hey, are you Alyssa?" I raise my eyebrows at her high pitched voice.
"No."
"Oh, sorry. I'm on the wrong section." I shrug after her words and sit on a bench. She leaves and I just stare at the ceiling. This is so terrible it hurts.
"Are you Dakota?" I rise my gaze towards an old lady.
"Yeah." I say and she checks a note pad she has on her hand.
"Great, follow me please." I grab my suitcase and follow her. We head outside to a warm parking lot. There, a bus holds on. The bus with glowing letters reads "Knightley's".
There are teens laughing and smiling in the pictures all over it. It makes me sick. I climb into the bus after leaving my suitcase on the back. I see everyone stare at me. They just turn around to the window or to the ceiling after studying my whole black outfit. I'm just one of them.
