The Darkness Within

Chapter Fourteen

Nico's POV
Packs of wolves and fixes United as one to kill the campers . Phoenixes swooped in, aiding the land mammals to defeat their opponents. I had some mercy in me to ask my father to spare some campers like, Ethan Namurak, Selina Bueguard, Charles Beckendorf, and the Stoll brothers, Clarisse La Rue, Frank Zhang, Thalia Grace and Jake Mason. And obviously the Hunters. You didn't want to get on the wrong side of Artemis. When the last camper was Brutally killed, the ones left alive were totally confused.
"We left some of the tolerable campers alive. We aren't that harsh." Luke explains.
"So are we going to get tortures and then killed." Ethan asks, his voice trembling.
"Nope, you will find yourself still alive on two legs. Maybe." I add.
"Ignore him, he has a weird sense of humour." Zain gently says as not to startle the others.
"Who are most of you anyways?" Clarisse asks.
I face palmed my forehead and the rest of us sighed.
"You remember Luke Castellan, Son of Hermes. This is Jason Grace, son of Jupiter or Zeus, whichever you prefer. I'm Leo Valdez, the Super Sized Mcshizzle. A fire wielder and a son of Hephaestus. This is Zain, son of Thanatos and that my friends is Nico Di Angelo. Son of Hades. The number one Ghost King." Leo butts in before I can make one of my well known snarky comments.
"Wow, you guys sound awesome." Ethan marvels at us.
"We have a lot to discuss my fellow friends." Jason says, earning permission from the gods. 

After hours of explaining, our audience got one useless fact from our presentation.

"Your gods?" Beckendorf asks.

"No way. Jason, you better not be messing with me." Frank says bewildered.

The dead had come back to inform us of the plans made. I handed all the survivors a blindfold and together me and Zain shadow travelled in front of a ginormous palace thing in the middle of the woods. Trees surrounded the area with a few training dummies, that were really challenging to beat, and a lake had been dug closer to the building. The protector of this newly made camp was a dragon. The most beautiful scales that went down in a swirly pattern. Whilst we were staring, a voice spoke up.

"There are still demigods out there. Your task is to safely escort them to this safe palace. It has a similar border to that lousy camp-"

"What are you on about?" Ethan asks. I'm taking it he already forgot about that camp. Thankfully. The speech was carried on anyways.

"- of yours. The first few floors, you can only have one in each room. The next few floors you can have 2 in a room. The last few floors you can only have no more than five in a room. Also at first the rooms will be white. Then as you imagine your room to be it will become exactly like your thoughts  though it only happens once. So choose wisely." Thanatos explains after being interrupted. I have no idea when he showed up. 

"Man I'm so glad I wasn't the one discarded." Beckendorf says. 

I took in the beauty of our hard work. We all walked slowly staring in awe at the dead's work.  The door opened inviting us in, the dead servants bowing as we entered the building. We walked down a hallway that lead into the living room. It was big enough to hold too many campers that I can't even count. Marble furniture scattered the black and grey swirly carpet, the walls were painted grey with numerous paintings hung on the wall. From this levelled up living room, a door was opened to lead into the kitchen. When we entered the kitchen, it was twice the size of the living room as the dining room was there to. The theme for the kitchen was red and black, the walls were striped in those colours. There were multiple small black circular tables that could fit 6 people on one. Leather red chairs were the seating of this room. Next to the tables were counters, that also had a marble effect, pretty much everything did as 1) It looks so cool and 2) I'm addicted with that pattern, that supported bowls of fruit. In the cupboards there were lots of treats that could magically be refilled. Cool, isn't it? A silver fridge and freezer stood to a side. Now, these two objects may look tiny, like an average fridge and freezer, but in fact there was enough room to store twice the food. There were two fireplaces, supposedly used to sacrifice food to the still alive gods. Above the decorated counters hung more cupboards for yet again more treats. The second floor was another training room, the whole thing. It was pretty much just a door in a large room, nothing in there what so ever.  The spiral stair cases led to the rooms. The individual ones were big as an average room would be. With every room was a luxurious black and white marble (yes, I know. again) bathrooms. Ethan, Clarisse, Jake and Frank took these rooms. The two rooms were twice the size of the individual ones. Those who took these rooms were Selina and Beckendorf in one and the Stoll brothers. You can't forget the prankers of camp. The large rooms were five times the size of the individual rooms. The hunters each took these rooms. A large room, larger than the grouped rooms, was situated in a corner. Me, Zain, Jason, Leo and Luke walked in and immediately said the same thing. "Galaxy." The walls became a galaxy themed as well as the floor. Stars and planets were painted onto the wall. Then a large bed, enough to fit us all appeared. 

"Who has a death wish." I growl. All four of them smirk and jumped on the bed. Five wardrobes were neatly lined up, inside them were comfortable clothes. The bathroom was bigger as there was five of us of course. Instead of being white and black, the bathroom was coloured a blood read and a dark grey. This may be the best day of my life. I think. I joined them on the bed, laughing as jokes were told. I look over to the dead servants and commanded them to prepare food for all the campers.
