The Illumine Moon

After the ceremony, Samon and Kyoga dragged an unwilling and drunk Ryota over to his room. I sit down on the back patio feeling relief over the ceremony being over.

I'm so happy for Ryota. He got to have his 1000th birthday and we pulled it together last minute. I'm proud of us.

"Hey, it's a little cold," I look to my right to see Shinra holding a blanket, "Here."

"Thank you," I take the blanket and cover myself with it.

Shinra sits next to me and says, "Don't take it the wrong way. I just didn't want you freezing out here."

What 'other way' was I supposed to take it?

He breaks the silence by saying, "You asked me earlier about Miyabi. I checked the area and I can't find him."

"Where do you think he could've went?" I ask.

"Who knows?" Shinra answers, shrugging his shoulders, "He probably went out to the red light district."

"I get that he's upset with me but instead of watching the ceremony, he decided to go get laid?" I clench my fists in anger, "What a jerk! And here I was worried about him!"

"That's just how he is. He would rather go and have a good time than confront how he feels," Shinra explains.

I stand up and hand Shinra the blanket, "There's something I need to talk to him about. I'm going to go find him."

"But you don't even know where he is!" Shinra gets up in a hurry.

"I don't think he's in the one on earth so I'll go to the Mononoke Village."

"Shinra puts his hand on my shoulder and says, "Wait, I'll come with you."

Seika's Pov

"Shinra, you came all this way with me and don't want to come in?" I ask, baffled as to why he wanted to come along if he didn't want to go in. We're standing in front of the entrance to the most prestige business in the red light district of Mononoke Village, the Illumine Moon. I have no doubt that he's here.

"It's embarrassing," Shinra blushes, scratching the back of his head, "I'm not into these types of places."

I sigh understandably and say, "Okay Shinra, stay close by. I'll be right back."

Shinra nods. I slide the door open and take off my shoes. There's a sign with a few pairs of new looking slippers that says, 'Help yourself'.

"Hello," A young girl with braids dressed in a yellow kimono greets me, "How can I help you miss?"

"I'm looking for someone, " I answer then ask, "Would you perhaps know where a Kitsuni Miyabi can be found?"

"Ah yes, but I'm not allowed to give away that information," She answers timidly, "I'll be right back! Let me go tell him you're here!"

The girl runs off into the endless hallway leaving me stranded. Well, that was interesting...

I begin to look around at my surroundings. This really is a beautiful place. I can see why it's so popular. I bet the courtesans are just as beautiful.

"Miss! Miss!" The girl from before runs up to me, "Follow me. He's up in one of the rooms ahead."

I follow behind her as we make our way to Miyabi. There's many rooms lined down the hallway. Through the door panels, I can hear noises and see silhouettes.
