Katashi's Pov

"Oh really?" Akemi asks while putting her hands on her hips, "Tell me Hebi. What is the grave mistake I've committed? Perhaps you've mistaken me for someone else."

"Wife of Yoshihiro, you've committed a treacherous act. You left the heavens and mingled with an ayakashi, and bear a devil child now in your possession." As I list off her sins, the calm demeanor on Akemi's face begins to cease.

"How dare you insult my family!" Akemi says with a scowl, "What right do you, after everything that you've done, have to talk down on me?"

A small chuckle escapes from my lips. "Compared to the sins you've committed, I've done nothing."

Akemi stares at me in silence, her lips tightly pressed together. A single tear falls down from her left eye, followed by more tears that silently fall.

The three of us stand frozen still from the unexpected turn of events.

Akemi lips slowly part. She has a soft demeanor with a threatening glare as she says, "You do know what the legends say, right? Making an angel cry, is as bad as causing the earth to remorse over the spilled blood of those who have died in countless wars."

We listen silently as Akemi continues to speak. "This sacred place has been stained with sin. I have lost my position of an 'angel' in the heavens, but I am an angel nonetheless." Akemi says as she slowly lifts her hands up into the air, "This place will burn to ashes and I will leave here with my daughter." In an instant, the whole room is lit up in flames. The three of us, stand frozen still, mortified from such power.

"Hebi! Go get the girl from the storage room. Now!" Ōkami calls out.

"Alright." I reply before dashing off to the other side of the room. I open the door and run inside. I frantically search  the storage room, looking for the girl. After searching every square inch, I come to a hault; the realization that the has girl escaped and run away makes my body feel limp. I shake the feeling off and decide to tell the others. I exit the storage room and join back with the others.

"Hebi, where is the girl?" Ōkami asks.

"She's gone." I reply honestly.

"GONE?" Ōkami's eyes are suddenly full of fear and shock, "What're you talking about?! That can't be!"

"My daughter! Give me back my lovely daughter you scum!" Akemi screams; her rage slowly starting to consume her.

"Your daughter isn't here anymore." I scream to Akemi. Akemi turns her attention to me, her eyes void of any sign of emotion.

"She isn't here?" Akemi asks, "Then where is she?"

"She's gone." I reply bluntly, "She must've somehow escaped on her own."

"Is that so?" Akemi says with monotone, "Well then...I guess I'll have to go through village, after village, after VILLAGE, BURNING EVERYTHING DOWN IN SIGHT UNTIL I FIND MY DAUGHTER!"

Akemi bursts through the roof and up into the sky. Before we knew it, she was gone and we were stuck in the fires of heaven's wrath that she has left behind.

Even when we combine our powers together, we are unable to extinguish her flames. We manage to find an escape route, but are too late to warn the others. Miles and miles of forest and village fires, now stretch across the country side.
