Seika's Pov

"Today is just like any other morning. Boring as hell." I thought these words to myself as I held onto a pole as I took the subway train to work, "But the dream I had last night was pretty cool. It reminded me of the good old days."

I sighed as I got out of the subway train and made my way through the busy streets of my hometown. I seriously hate my life lately. After a while of being stuck on this planet, you tend to get bored of it.

And if you haven't guess it, no, I am not from this world. I am an akayashi. Well, at least I was before. Now, I'm human.

It's been roughly around 18 years. 18 terrible years have passed since the tragedy that occurred.

I was 7 at the time. The time when misfortune struck my life. I'm currently 25 years old. And unlike akayashi, I'm not going to live for thousands of years. If I stay in this human form, I'll die sooner or later. I hate being human.

I arrived at my workplace. I'm an artist. Well, technically that's what I wanted to become when I came out of high school. If there's something I've always loved to do, it's art. But instead, I was the muse while others took photos and drew drawings of me. In reality, I'm actually a model.

It's torture. Seeing someone else living your dreams. What's even worse, is that the only person you truly liked as friend throughout your entire life living on earth, is living that dream instead of you.

I entered inside and smiled politely at the CEO.

"There's my top model!" My CEO Kimura Seo said with with a smile, "How are you today?"

"I'm feeling great today senpai!" I say with my classic, breath-taking grin.

"Well that's good to hear." The women said with a kind smile.

Kimura Seo. The Ceo of Seo industries of fashion. She's a billionaire and is wealthy in looks and power. But, she can become harshly aggressive at times when things aren't going her way. She isn't the type of person you'd like to mess with.

"So why did you call me in today?" I ask.

"I want you to do a photoshoot for me today at 10. Is that fine with you? You'll get paid $3,000 for each photo that's taken." The CEO says as she emphasizes the word 'each' strongly.

"I'm fine with that." I say with a grin, "Is that all?"

"Yes. That is all." The CEO says with a smile.

"Then I shall leave then." I say as I stand up, "Thank you very much."

I politely bow and leave the CEO's office.

You're probably wondering about why I didn't ask the CEO any questions about the job she was asking me to do. And no. This is no a plot hole. (Oh no! Seika! You just broke down the fourth wall! Call the construction workers! They need to rebuild that wall ASAP!) Don't worry about it. I'll be breaking that wall once down every once in a while, but for now, I'll put it back up myself.

The CEO is behind the reason I'm successful as I am today. 18 years ago, she swept me up and saved me from a bad life of living in the streets. I owe my life to her. If it weren't for her, I'd probably be working as a maid somewhere and not making as much money as I do today.

I go into my big office and lean in my comfy desk chair. I put my feet up on the table and just peacefully lay there. Meditating in my thoughts.

Kimura Seo saved me all those years ago. She took me in and made sure I was healthy and all, but...she never showed any compassion towards me. She just used me as a marketing profit. And it hurts to say this, but...
