I loved the way my name sounded when she said it. I should've never given her permission to use it but it felt weird being called Ms. Austin with a beer in my hand. The door bell interrupted my thoughts and panic settled over me. "Who is that?" I asked Ryan who seemed to be completely unphased.

"Ahh, pizzas here!" She yelled back over her shoulder on her way to the door. I ducked down in my chair hoping the delivery boy couldn't see me. Ryan paid him and shut the door making her way back outside, along with the pizza she had two fresh cold beers.

"Ryan I am not having dinner with you! It's bad enough I let you get me tipsy."

"First of all you're definitely bordering drunk and I am starving so I know you must be too." She open the box pulling out a slice in each hand. She took a bite of one and held the other out to me. I took it and took a bite moaning at the delicious taste. Ryan looked at me and her eyes darkened. Before saying anything she looked away and started talking about the landscape.

"I love it out here. We have neighbors but they're not so close that they impeach on all this beauty." She stated looking out towards the trees at the back of the property. athe sun had just dipped below the trees. "My literal dream is to live in a little villa on the beach. Where everyday I can dive into the cool salty water and dig my toes in the sand."

Seeing her wistful look made me smile. "I remember," I said back in a near whisper not wanting to pull her out of the moment she was in but her gaze turned towards me. Our eyes held and I could still see the look I couldn't decipher but I also caught a glimpse of green. As many times as I had looked into her eyes I had never noticed they were green before. I was always too caught up in trying to figure out what her eyes were saying and revealing.

"Your eyes are green," I said. She smirked but didn't look alway.

"And your's are beautiful". It didn't sound like a cheesy line the way she said it. It sounded so sincere.

She leaned in bringing her hand up to my face cupping it. I should've moved. I should've backed up or pulled away but I didn't move. She leaned in and we were mere inches apart.

"You're beautiful," She whispered as she closed the gap between us.
