T.W.: suicide, hospital
"Hey Dee, could you bring Virgil down for dinner?" Thomas asked.
"Okays!" Dee stood from where he was coloring with Patton.
Dee skipped up the stars to Virgil's room and opened the door.
"DADDY!" Dee screamed.
Virgil was laying unconscious on the floor, shaking wildly.
"Dee! What-" Thomas ran up the stairs, "oh no GUST!"
Augustus ran up the stairs, "oh God he's seizing!"
"He OD'd." Logan whispered in shock, holding an empty medication bottle.
"W-what?" Patton whimpered, hiding behind Roman.
"Okay, we need to get him to the hospital now!" Augustus said, picking up Virgil.
Thomas nodded and they all ran out to the car. About halfway to the hospital, Augustus shouted.
"Hes not breathing!"
"We're almost there!" Logan told him, "just hang on Virgil... please..."
They made it to the hospital and the doctors took Virgil, leaving the rest of the family in the waiting room.
Dee started crying again. Remus picked him up and hugged the child.
"Shh, it's okay Dee." Remus told him, "Virgil's gonna be just fine."
Thirty silent minutes later, a nurse came out to take them to Virgil's room.
Dee started crying when he saw Virgil, tucking his face in Remus's shoulder to stay quiet. The family sat around the hospital bed and waited for the boy to wake up.
"Hey Virge." Thomas said once the boy woke up.
Virgil choked on a sob, "I'm sorry."
"Its okay Virge, what happened?" Thomas asked.
Virgil curled up in his dad's arms, "I just wanted the pain to end."
Thomas just held him as he cried.
"Hey Virge, do you want to set up a therapy appointment?" Augustus asked.
Virgil shrugged.
"Virgil, why didn't you talk to us?" Logan asked.
"I didn't want to bother you." Virgil whimpered, "I'm sorry."
"You dont have to be sorry Virge." Thomas told him.
"B-but I-" Virgil started.
"No." Remus grit his teeth, "you are nothing like what Skylar said you are. You are not toxic! You are not a bad person! You are our brother! We cant lose you!"
Virgil choked on a sob. He didn't know what to feel, let alone say after that.
"I just wanna go home." Virgil whispered.
