Before They Knew

Canada was having a normal morning. He ate his stack of pankakes, got dressed up for the World Meeting coming up today at 11:00 am today. His polar bear Kumajuju, no wait, Kuma-- never mind, anyways it (once again) asked for his name.

Yet he had this feeling that something was wrong. Something was off.

'Nah, it's probably nothing.' He thought, shrubbing the thought off.

Maybe if he didn't, he would have been less surprised.

France sighed as he brushed his hair with a comb that England has given him on one of his birthdays. He woke up late, at about 10:00 am. He was going to be late for the meeting, but he had to brush his hair. Of course, this was pretty normal for him.

Maybe if he thought about how England hasn't responded his texts for a while, he would have been prepared for the terrible truth.

---------------------------------------------

Most of the countries were already in the room by 10:45. Of course, with the exception of France, due to fixing his hair, America, well, because he's America, duh, Canada, because his twin brother was supposed to pick him up, and England.

The room was just like normal, countries chatting, Switzerland glaring at everyone who looked at him or his sister, both Italys being themselves, and of course, arguing.

Of course, nobody gave a second glance to the empty seat that is always there earlier than all other countries.

Maybe England was right. Maybe nobody cared about him at all.

But maybe he was wrong. Maybe someone will care, after they know.
