Since your headache was not getting any better when you woke up from your nap, your mother offered to come and pick you up from school so you could rest at home with little to no distraction. You felt bad, inconveniencing the nurse and Professor Im, and just kept telling yourself that you should have just stayed home another day. You were excused from the nurse with a message to get well, before making your way back to class to grab your stuff. It was lunchtime by now, and you stepped into class, rubbing your head as you closed the door behind you. Taehyung wasn't there, neither was Jimin, so you assumed they met with the others for lunch again, but Jihyo was there with some friends. When she saw you, she hurried over to your side.

"How do you feel?" she asked.

"My head hurts. My mother is coming to get me so I can go home and rest." You walked to your desk and grabbed your bag, then to your locker in the back of the class to switch out books. "Can you bring me the rest of my work later?"

"Of course." She smiled. "Just go home and rest, okay? Do the teachers know?"

"The nurse said she would call the teacher's lounge and tell them for me." As you closed your locker, you sighed. "I guess I'll go wait outside."

"See you tomorrow?" Jihyo asked. You nodded.

"Yeah. Hopefully, I'll feel up to it. I didn't realize how hard my head hit the wall when Ji Seok and I crossed paths. I've had concussions before, nothing this serious."

"You're dealing with a psychopath, that's why." Jihyo said. "But hopefully you'll be okay soon. Maybe go to the doctor again."

"Yeah, I'll probably do that." You gave Jihyo a hug. "Tell Taehyung not to worry about me too much, okay? I'll text him after school if I'm not asleep." "Okay." She watched you head towards the door and out of class again.

It was cold outside, so the boys were eating lunch together in an old tech room nobody used anymore after they upgraded all of their equipment last year. "Did she look any better when you saw her, Taehyung?" Namjoon asked as he leaned back in his seat.

"She was asleep. I couldn't really tell." He responded, leaning over to Jungkook and using his chopsticks to nab some of his rice. Jungkook huffed, moving his food away from Taehyung's grasp as he continued to eat it protectively.

"Why don't you bring your own food?" he asked.

"I don't have anything in my house to bring." Taehyung responded, swallowing the handful of rice. "What I got in the cafeteria wasn't enough for me today, I'm still hungry. Just one more bite?" he pouted at his younger friend, who knew he wouldn't say no. He was probably the best behaved and kindest out of the seven of them, which he mostly got from Hoseok. Jungkook sighed, pushing his lunch towards Taehyung, who took some more rice.

"Just don't eat everything." He said as he watched his friend.

Taehyung was putting a mouthful of rice in his mouth when he glanced out the window and saw you standing by the front gates, bundled up in your jacket, pulling your hood over your head. He set his chopsticks down and stood up, peering closer out the window to make sure it was you. When he confirmed that it was, he pushed his seat in. "I'll be right back." He said.

"Where are you going?" Hoseok asked, only to be nudged and pointed towards the window by Yoongi. "Oh."

Taehyung hurried out of the school and towards the gate, calling your name. You looked over, smiling a bit as you fixed your scarf around your neck. "Hey. What are you doing out here?"

"I'm waiting for my mom. My head was still bothering me when I woke up, so she's coming to get me and probably take me to the doctor."

"Oh..." Taehyung's shoulders slumped. You stepped closer to him and poked them hard enough to make him stand straight again. "Well...can I stop by after school then?" You nodded.
