It turned out that my room was in an upper tower where I had a clear view of the moon. The nearly full moon lit my darkened room. Severus, as he insisted I call him, started a fire in the hearth with a flick of his wand.
"Thank you," I said, lighting a few candles in their sconces to give the room more light. Now that the room had some light to it, I went over to my bag sitting on the bed and pulled out several scrolls I had carefully packed.
Laying them out on a desk near the open window, I gazed down at the detailed charts making sure the ink hadn't run. These were some of the most important things I owned.
"Astrology?" Severus peered over my shoulder.
"Phases of the moon and their corresponding dates for the next year," I replied. That's all he needed to know. That's all anyone at this school needed to know. What the moon meant for me and my abilities was my business and mine alone.
Severus gave me an odd look but shrugged, "It's late, and I should leave you to unpack."
I looked up to see him moving towards the door, "Thank you, Severus."
The Potions Professor gave me a smile, "My pleasure Miss (Y/N). Have a pleasant evening."
