"Flo?" I woke up with Michael calling me. As I woke up, I realized that my head was already in his chest and my arms were already around his neck. I felt his hands in my back, rubbing it gently as means to wake me up. My cheeks immediately went crimson and I tried to hide it.
"What time is it?" I groaned.
"Misa de Gallo time."
I immediately rose up and fixed myself, "I'm... uh... sorry for crushing you." I mumbled, mentally slapping myself. Crush? Seriously?
"It's okay." He said. That smile again, "You just need warmth for the breeze."
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks."
"No problem."
We then went to church for Misa de Gallo. Afterwards, he walked me back to my hotel room.
"So I'll... see you tonight?" I said, looking at the ground then looking at him.
"Uh... about that." He said, looking at the ground, "I'm running out of places that we can go to. I have this place though. But it's better if we go there during their feast day so we can join in the fun. So how about we just rest the day in the hotel but we'll still go to Misa de Gallo."
I nodded.
"So... see you tomorrow then." He said as he left.
"Uh, Mikey?" I said, causing him to stop and turn, "I'll uh... find a place that we can go to so that we can still see each other tonight." I am already thinking about going to SLRC, a college, and climb its rooftop.
"That sounds cool." He said.
"So I'll see you ton-"
"I hope you call me by my nickname more often."
"Mikey?"
"Yeah. You just called me Mikey." He smiled, causing blush to creep on my cheeks again. Stop it freak. I inwardly curse myself.
"Alright." I mumbled.
"So, see you tonight Flo."
"See you tonight Mikey." I said as I closed the door and he left. As the door was closed, I smiled. Of all the nights I've been with Michael, this is the best one. He really showed his inner self and I realized that he's not that bad. Scratch that. He's not a bad person. I bet whoever would be his girl, she'll be damn lucky.
But I admit, part of me wants that girl to be... me.
