I woke up at night to the sound of my phone vibrating. I then took it and responded to the call of Mama Nene.
"Hello Mama Nene."
"Hello Flo. Uh, remember about the favor I asked you?"
"You mean a photo of The Ruins?"
"Yeah."
"Why? What about it?"
"Can you like, take a photo of it like right now? I need to show it to my friends."
"But Mama Nene, it's going late at night. The photo can't be captured in a perfect way. It's dark outside."
"No. It won't look ugly, believe me."
"But-"
"There are lights there. Or maybe, you can just take a photo of it by midnight, during the fireworks show. It's New Year's Eve anyway."
"Oh yeah." I said as I remembered that today is New Year's Eve, "I almost forgot that."
"Please sweetie."
"I don't see a problem with that Mama Nene. I'll just prepare myself, have dinner, and go there."
"Thank you Flo. Take care and watch your wound alright?"
"I will. I'll send you the photo after."
"Okay." She said as she hanged up. I then played music for a while as I prepared myself. Afterwards, I went out of my hotel and took dinner then went back to the hotel again to take some stuff before I left for The Ruins.
I also decided to celebrate my New Year's on The Ruins. Maybe the place isn't bad after all since Mama Nene is so crazy about it.
Maybe in celebrating it there, who knows, there would something there that would let me say that my New Year's in The Ruins is the best ever.
