Chapter 13

After breakfast, we toured Heaven's Peak for a while before going to the barangay proper. As we arrived, I saw lots of children running towards Michael. Michael then crouched down and opened his arms for a hug. He was smiling widely as Mama Nene came towards me.

"The first time Michael came here, he was really friendly and caring with us and the kids here in the barangay. And now that he's back, children here can't wait for his music." Mama Nene smiled, causing me to smile as well.

Michael then pulled away from the kids and introduced me to them, "Kids, this is Ate Flo. She's a cool girl and a good friend."

"Hi Ate Flo." The kids said in unison, causing me to giggle.

"Hi kids." I waved at them.

"Kuya Michael," a young boy said, carrying a guitar that has almost the same size as his body, and handed it to Michael, "please play and sing."

"Of course." Michael smiled as he took the guitar and started strumming it. Afterwards, he started singing songs from different genres and the kids sang along with him. I smiled at the scene before me and kinda blushed when Michael's charm was shown again. I don't know why, but he's more attractive when playing the guitar.

"Charming, isn't he?"

I just turned to Mama Nene and smiled.

"It's normal to have a crush honey. It's okay."

"Uh, I don't have a crush on-"

"Shush. I saw that look you have." She said, causing me to blush in embarrassment. She then laughed, "Who can blame you? Michael's the sweetest, cutest boy I've encountered. I always pray for him you know. He's like a son to me. And now, I'll also pray for you always. Because you are now my daughter."

I grinned, "Thanks mama."

Hours later, Mama Nene asked me for help to prepare snacks for children. Afterwards, the children had snacks. Michael had snacks with them but I didn't, causing his attention to turn to me.

"Flo, you should eat." He said as he approached me, carrying the guitar and a sandwich.

"It's okay Mikey." I smiled, "I'm not hungry."

"I'm not letting you go on that one." He said as he told me to open my mouth for him to feed me. I tried protesting, but he ended up tickling me and poking me, causing me to just follow him instead. We ended up laughing.

After snack time, Michael went back to playing the guitar while I helped Mama Nene in cleaning up. In the midst of doing so, I saw a child who is alone and finds it hard to socialize. After the cleaning, I decided to leave to be with the girl, but not before enduring the teasing of Mama Nene and Lex saying that Michael and I look cute together. I then went to the young girl.

"Hi." I said, causing the girl to look up, "I'm Flo."

The girl did not answer.

"You want me to teach you a trick?"

The girl nodded, causing me to smile. I then promised to come back in a second as I left to gather some small, cute flowers. I then came back and showed her how to make a flower crown. Sooner, more young girls came and were amazed by the flower crown I made. I then placed it on the girl's head which happens to be Elsa. Afterwards, the girls ran to get flowers then came back to me to make their own flower crowns. When they were finished, a girl named Diane placed her flower crown made of wild flowers on me, causing me to gasp and smile and thank her. The girls wore their flower crowns as well.

"Now we all look like princesses." I smiled, causing the girls to smile as well. They also taught me tricks that has something to do with flowers, even went as far as tasting the nectar of a Santan flower. I gasped and smiled by the tricks I've learned. Until one of the girls shouted and invited all of us to play Sisira ang Bulaklak, a Filipino game that involves a queen or something. I then smiled and agreed to play with the other girls, becoming queen in some occasions.

Finally, lunchtime came and Michael and I took lunch and left, saying goodbye to the kids. We then went back to the hotel. As we arrived:

"You know, we just played the Sisira ang Bulaklak game with the young girls and I was queen like multiple times. We also made flower bracelets, necklaces, crowns, and it was awesome. We were like princesses." I said, making Michael laugh, "Then I met Emma and her sister Elsa, Emily, Diane and just a lot of girls."

"You're really having fun." Michael laughed, "I told you it's fun."

"I really hope that we can go back there Mikey."

He then sighed, "Don't worry. We'll find a way to meet them again soon." He placed his hands in his jean pockets and smiled.

He then escorted me to the door of my hotel room and I smiled facing him. I really thanked him so much, I kissed him on the cheek, causing me to blush when I realized I did it, "I really had fun Mikey. I really do. Thank you."

"Anytime." He smiled.

"See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow." He said as he left.
