This quarantine is really getting old! It's been three weeks now and so far we haven't been able to get any groceries or. supplies. The delivery services are all blocked. we've been living off canned food and whatever is left in our fridge. There's a lot of people in our house! Nick and I are letting all my sisters and their significant others quarantine in our house! These are all the people currently living in my house:
Me, Nick (My husband), Kath, Max (Katherine's Fiancé), Lisa, Chad (Lisa's Fiancé), Amy, Lauren, Dani, and Emmyn (Dani's Husband). So that's 10 people. Which in the scheme of things, isn't too many. But when we're all stuck in the house: it is! Where we live, in Tennessee, the Corona Virus is pretty bad, but luckily we're still allowed to go outside! I love going on walks they're really good for my mental health, especially when I'm pregnant and can't do other exercise.
I slowly trod down the stairs, my baby kicking me lightly. "Lise, Chad, are you up for a game of Monopoly?" I call to the couple, who are sitting together on the couch watching TV.
"Sure." Lisa drags herself off the couch and walks slowly to the table, her bright pink hair flying out behind her. Chad gets up and joins us a moment later. "Where's everyone else?" He questions.
"I don't know," I reply. "I've been in Nick's and my room the whole morning. Nick is showering, and I think Kath is on a walk, writing poetry. I'm fairly positive Dani and Emmyn are filming a video for their YouTube Channel in the guest room, but I'm not sure about the others." We play Monopoly and after an hour or so, I claim my victory. Ha- even with my muddled up pregnancy brain I can manage to dominate a game!
